That would be perfect. The Dream World would be used a lot more, and I mean a lot.

Duck,

Do you know of any Challenge Runs?

@Little Eevee: You bet! I wouldn't mind a few extra questions flying in! =)

@Lit: Well, there's the infamous Nuzlocke run. Catch only the first Pokemon in each area, none else, and if one of your Pokemon faints, you have to release it. Lose all your Pokemon/white out, and you gotta start ALL over.

Oh, noez! This thread is on the second thread! Keep pushing forward, Duck Pond supporters!

Well, while searching for skill runs, I found this interesting 6 Pokemon-only run.

All right, Duck. Say you're EV training a Pokémon that has Pokérus. The virus doubles its EV gain, so if you were trying to get 252 EVs in Health, you'd only have to defeat 126 Pokémon that give one Health EV to reach the desired number of EVs. With me so far?

Now, say you want to use a Macho Brace. Bulbapedia says that the item "stacks with Pokérus". Would that mean that the Macho Brace plus Pokérus quadruples the EV gain? Meaning, you'd only have to defeat 63 Pokémon that give one Health EV to end up with 252. Is this correct? (I hope you can understand all this. I'm kinda new to EV training.)

Victory, some advice. Using Vitamens will lead to 100 EVs in any stat. So if you use those first. EV Training is taken a lot faster.

Thanks for the tip, Lit. Do you know about how Pokérus and Macho Brace stack, though?

Yep, they do! You can get a Maximum of 12 Evs per battle. I would sujest using a trick room team with Solosis' Final Evo.

Thank you! This will make things easier. Sorry if I sound like a n.o.o.b, but I've preferred just to have fun before, and EV training takes away some of the fun. angel_smile.png

Tee-hee! Sorry, Duck. But thanks for answering anyway.

I suppose, Lit, but I'd prefer to just play Pokémon without any sort of cheating (even if it's not considered "cheating"), even if it takes time.

I tend to ignore EVs and IVs and all that, as well. I just play for fun! ARs are just one of the things that take the fun out of it. Which is more fun: struggling your way on the path to becoming the Champion with Pokemon you caught and raised along the way, or pwning Youngster Joey's Rattata with a team of level 100 Arceus?

What! I dare never use the Ar for ingame. I rather pawn Joey's Ratata with Cyndaquil.

I use AR for the Metgame. I have a life, unlike most of the people on the top of th leader boards

Thank you, Lit for being an exception. *bows*

I'm just referring to 90% of newbies who use AR with Pokemon games. I used to use hacked Pokemon with Emerald, along with abusing the cloning glitch, but then I realized how destructive glitch/hack abuse is to the game's data.

I only used AR once (and it wasn't even mine...) ... and what did it get me? 99 of each TM that is now pointless because we are in BW... and max Heart Scales...

Also, a question for Duck:

What was the name of the Meowth Meowth (TR) was trying to impress?
