Special Conditions seem weak

Poison - is almost a joke 10 hp per turn with alot of +300 hp pokemon dominating the meta and so many switching and healing cards its feels incredibly underwhelming.

Once upon a time the highest hp pokemon were 120 and when the gameplay was slower it was very relevant.

Possible change (Standard and maybe expanded) change the poison tick damage to 20 per turn or maybe apply  this only to the beefy (rule box) pokemon.

Paralysis - this is probably fine as it is.

Confusion - This is also weak maybe upp the damage to 40 and or bring back coinflip on retreat. There are many switching cards to get around this but at least make it somewhat impactful because right now it might not even be in the game.

Burn - this one is ok but would be nice to bump up that damage to say 30 and we have something.

I think something like this would add more flavour of to the game. Because at one point status effects were very relevant and its a shame with power creep these becoming almost a non factor

Let me know what you think and hopefully ptcgo can pass this change onto the developers especially to a new client.

Poison is not that as you say it can turn things worst.

Just think if an Eternatus VMAX is poisoned and Shedinja uses Life Squeeze attack on it then it's remaining HP will be 10.

And just before your opponent can do anything between turns because of poisoned the 10 HP gone and Eternatus VMAX will be Knocked Out.

And Shedinja is a single prize attacker nothing if it gets knocked out.

And what about the scolipede released in chilling reign It's attack's damage turns from 100 to 220 if opponent is poisoned.

The best thing is that poison has a confirm put damage counter function and it is not healed until and unless the Pokemon moves to bench or full heal is used.

So better not underestimate it.

Hello @DesolationTroop

Thank you for the response.

"The best thing is that poison has a confirm put damage counter function and it is not healed until and unless the Pokémon moves to bench or full heal is used.
