Version 2.75 Known Issues

This thread contains a collection of known issues in version 2.75 of the Pokémon TCG Online. These issues have been logged into the bug tracking database and will be resolved by the development team in order of severity.
 
If you have encountered an issue that does not appear in this thread, please report the it via the Report a Game Bug area of the forums, or the Pokémon Support Portal.

Nov. 24, 2020

  • Removed [FIXED]: Aurora Energy (SSH #186): Moving Aurora Energy between 2 Pokémon and then returning it to the hand may increase the number of cards that must be discarded to put it back into play.
  • Removed [FIXED]: Rayquaza (VIV #138): A player affected by the bonus effect of Altered Creation GX will not take 1 additional Prize card when Amazing Burst is used to Knock Out 1 of their opponent's Pokémon.
  • Removed [FIXED]: Rayquaza (VIV #138): Damage from Amazing Burst does not trigger Whimsicott-GX's Fluffy Cotton Ability.
  • Removed [FIXED]: Recycle Energy (UNM #212, 257): Recycle Energy is not consistently returned to the hand when another copy of Recycle Energy is being discarded at the same time.
  • Removed [FIXED]: Shedinja (VIV #066): If Dedenne-GX's Dedechange is used while Shedinja is in the hand, Shedinja will remain in the hand and will not be able to be sent from the hand to the deck or discard pile for the remainder of the match.

  • Added: Beast Ball (CES #125): The Prize card shuffle animation shows them being returned to the deck, rather than placed back on the playmat. This is a visual issue only and does not affect the contents or order of the deck.
  • Added: Exeggutor (HS #18): Energy Absorption always requires the maximum amount of available Energy to be chosen.
  • Added: Gladion (CIN #95, 109): The Prize card shuffle animation shows them being returned to the deck, rather than placed back on the playmat. This is a visual issue only and does not affect the contents or order of the deck.
  • Added: Rayquaza (VIV #138): A player affected by the bonus effect of Altered Creation GX will not take 1 additional Prize card when Amazing Burst is used to Knock Out 1 of their opponent's Pokémon.
  • Added: Rayquaza (VIV #138): Damage from Amazing Burst does not trigger Whimsicott-GX's Fluffy Cotton Ability.

  • Added: Welder (UNB #189, 214): This card ignores effects that prevent a Pokémon from having Energy cards attached to it from the hand.
  • Added: Zinnia (DRM #64, 70): This card ignores effects that prevent a Pokémon from having Energy cards attached to it from the hand.
  • Added: Emote text codes typed into search fields are rendered as the emote image, rather than being treated as plain text.

  • Added: Cinderace VMAX (RCL #36, 194): Counter will still do increased damage if Cinderace VMAX leaves play after taking damage from an attack during the opponent's last turn and is then put back into play on it's owner's turn.
  • Added: Jellicent (NXD #35): Vengeful Wish will still do damage if Jellicent leaves play after taking damage from an attack during the opponent's last turn and is then put back into play on it's owner's turn.
  • Added: Pidgeot-EX (EVO #64, 104): Mirror Move will still do damage if Pidgeot-EX leaves play after taking damage from an attack during the opponent's last turn and is then put back into play on it's owner's turn.
  • Added: Recycle Energy (UNM #212, 257): Recycle Energy is not consistently returned to the hand when another copy of Recycle Energy is being discarded at the same time.

Cards

  • Banette-GX (CES #66, 157, 174, SV61): While Sky Field (ROS #89) is in play the Pokémon on the far right side of the opponent's Bench cannot be consistently chosen when using Shady Move.

  • Chandelure (GRI #13): While Sky Field (ROS #89) is in play the Pokémon on the far right side of the opponent's Bench cannot be consistently chosen when using Shady Move.

General

  • An error may occur when attempting to uninstall the game via the Control Panel when installed in any language other than English. Running the Installer and selecting "Uninstall" will resolve the issue.
  • Emote text codes typed into search fields are rendered as the emote image, rather than being treated as plain text.
  • The PC client uses more that the intended amount of system memory when logging out of and back into the game without first closing and relaunching the client.

 

Gameplay: General

  • The game log does not consistently show the amount of damage done by attacks with an effect that requires the attacking player to make a choice after doing damage.
  • When both players mulligan, the first player to draw a Basic Pokémon is not consistently shown the opponent's previous opening hands before to choosing their Active Pokémon.

 

Gameplay: Versus

  • Some players may not appear on the Leaderboards website despite having earned Versus points during the time frame selected.

 

Cards: Deck Manager

  • Deck stats don't update until after logging out and back in to the client, and losses are not consistently tracked.

 

Cards: Trading

  • Clicking on the dark blue background around the Collection Number text entry field in the Card Filters window causes that field to become disabled until the Reset button is clicked.
  • While an avatar item is equipped any additional, tradable copies of that item in the Collection cannot be included in a trade offer.

 

Social

  • Screen name changes are not consistently reflected in the Friends list.
