How can you buy a first edition booster pack for Sword and Shield?

Question in the title. 

 

I would like to get some first edition booster packs, but do not know much about the cards. Do first edition cards exist right now?

"First Edition" isn't how the TCG sets are released anymore. There are however pre-release tournament cards that have the stylized "Sword and Shield" on bottom right of the graphic. These however are not released in booster packs, they are from pre-release build and battle boxes. If you look around the internet hard enough you might find those.

 

If you're looking for the highest value cards from the more recent sets, you'd have more luck chasing secret rare cards than looking for pre-release cards, they are more valuable.
