Hi All

Following on from the deck analysis thread I have documented my adventures with Flygon GX in the standard format and what I have learned from the play testing.

These maybe nothing new but just my own observations

1.      Mad for mad party

a.       There are a lot of mad party players in standard!

2.      Hammer time!

a.       Its hammer time in standard with most decks rocking hammers

b.       My only issue with this is that my opponents always land a heads on the coin toss

c.       But I know when I play that card it’s a tails lol (And yes I do understand chance and randomness🤣)

3.      Silvally GX is my bud😀

a.       This card saved my **** a few times when getting reset stamped or needing to dig for that one card etc

4.      Energy acceleration☹️

a.       Fighting decks need something better I know we have Coalossal but I don’t think its good enough

b.      Hopefully Bea will  make things better

Perhaps it would be a good idea to use some copies of Lillie's Pokedoll in your deck to buy you a couple more turns. This way, you'd be able to have more time to get a Vibrava CEC in play and then use Red and Blue on it the following turn without worrying about giving out more Prize cards. You could try pairing Flygon GX with Rose Tower to draw back cards after you use Red and Blue, although Silvally GX is usually a better partner. But if you used Rose Tower, you could ideally set up a turn 2 board state with 1 Lillie's Pokedoll in the Active Position and only Vibrava on your Bench, in which case, your opponent would be unable to take any Prize cards.
