On September 22, 2020 the Pokémon TCG Online was updated to version 2.74. Changes in this version include:

  • Added support for the Pokémon TCG: Champion's Path expansion. This expansion will be available in the game on September 25 and will be legal for use in tournaments starting October 9. Champion's Path booster packs will not be available in the Shop.
  • Battle Compressor (PHF #92): This card can no longer be played while there are 0 cards remaining in the deck.
  • Black Market Prism Star (TEU #134): This card's effect is now properly applied if the {D} Pokémon with a {D} Energy attached is Knocked Out by damage from an attack that also has an effect which removes the attacking Pokémon from the Active Spot.
  • Gardevoir (NXD #57, DEX #109): The match should no longer become non-responsive for both players after a player puts Gardevoir into play while they already have a Pokémon in play with an Ability that prevents effects of attacks done their Pokémon that have Energy attached, such as Espeon (DEX #48) or Magearna-EX (STS #75, 110).
  • Glimwood Tangle (DAA #162): When a Pokémon uses the Fury Cutter attack or a "Flip a coin until you get tails..." attack while Glimwood Tangle is in play the opponent is no longer given the choice to re-flip the coins for that attack, rather than the attacking player.
  • Thundurus-EX (PLF #38, 110, BSP BW81): The attack button for the Raiden Knuckle attack now has the correct translation for the attack name in the German and Spanish clients.
  • Trick Coin (PHF #108): When a Pokémon with Trick Coin attached uses the Fury Cutter attack or a "Flip a coin until you get tails..." attack the opponent is no longer given the choice to re-flip the coins for that attack, rather than the attacking player.
  • Venusaur (SLG #3): The match should no longer become non-responsive for both players after a player puts Venusaur into play while they already have a Pokémon in play with an Ability that prevents effects of attacks done their Pokémon that have Energy attached, such as Espeon (DEX #48) or Magearna-EX (STS #75, 110).
  • Victini (NVI #14, 98, LTR #23, BSP BW32): When a Pokémon uses the Fury Cutter attack or a "Flip a coin until you get tails..." attack while Victini is on the attacking player's Bench the opponent is no longer given the choice to re-flip the coins for that attack, rather than the attacking player.
  • Victini (GRI #10): When a Pokémon uses the Fury Cutter attack or a "Flip a coin until you get tails..." attack while Victini is on the attacking player's Bench the opponent is no longer given the choice to re-flip the coins for that attack, rather than the attacking player.
  • Attacks with an effect that copies an attack on another Pokémon, such as Clefairy's (EVO #63) Metronome, now consistently fizzle if the attacking player repeatedly chooses to copy an attack with the same type of attack copying effect.
  • Effects that Knock Out a Pokémon regardless of its remaining HP, such as Mismagius's (UNB #78) Mysterious Message and Rampardos's (UPR #65) Wild Crash attack, no longer place enough damage counters on the affected Pokémon to reduce its HP to 0 before it is removed from play, rather than just removing it from play.
  • Coins from recently released theme decks now properly appear when creating a trade offer.
  • The QR scanner should now function properly with all models of Logitech webcams.
