[GAME BUG] Snorlax (UNB 158) doesn't get knocked out from poison

Expected Action: When Snorlax has 10 HP remaining and is poisoned before Pokemon Checkup, it would get knocked out after Pokemon Checkup. The poison damage would take effect before its ability, Lazy Eating, heals 10 damage from itself.
Actual Action: Snorlax takes poison damage during Pokemon Checkup first and increases its damage counters to 15. The card tilts diagonally (as Pokemon cards do when they get knocked out), but then its ability activates and 1 damage counter is removed, and the card moves to its vertical position again.
Steps to Reproduce: I experienced this during a fan-hosted colorless-only tournament where I used Raticate Break's Super Fang to place 14 damage counters on Snorlax, then used Hypnotoxic Laser to knock it out during Pokemon Checkup. The snorlax reached 15 damage counters, then went back to 14.

It looks like this is working as intended. Abilities would resolve before the game checks for any Knock Outs.

Pokémon Checkup

• Check for Special Conditions in this order: Poisoned, Burned, Asleep, and Paralyzed.
• Check Abilities and effects of Trainer cards that happen during Pokémon Checkup.
• You can choose to do this step before checking for Special Conditions. However, you can't mix the two steps—for example, you can't add Poison damage, then apply an Ability, and then go back to check if a Pokémon is still Asleep.
• Check to see if any Pokémon are Knocked Out.
   

Pokémon Checkup would first look at Special Conditions and apply the Poison damage.
The next step would be to check for Abilities, which Lazy Eating would activate and heal for 10 HP.

The last step is to check to see if any Pokémon are Knocked Out.
