[GENERAL] Installation - USER_PROFILE Error

Hello!

 

I used to play Pokemon tcg online a couple of months ago. At that time I was super busy and while cleaning my computer I decided to uninstall the game.

 

This week I downloaded the installer but every time I run it I get the same error: Could not access network location Property.USER_PROFILE

 

I tried everything but I didn't manage to make it work - I searched my pc in an attempt to find some residual files that might interfere with the installer but didn't find any. I played with the antivirus/firewall and even went into registries... no positive result.

 

What should I do?

This solution is not only incomplete and confuse but also Incorrect. It doesn't solve the issue.

 

And you/pokémon/Support/whoever should be more than aware knowing in the bottom count that only 200 out of 1000 people found that article useful. Yet is there after years and years and threads and threads. Sad.

Try this method:


Important: During the uninstallation process, remove all associated game files. Follow these steps for a "complete" uninstallation process:


Uninstall for Windows
- Go to the Programs and Features section of your computer's Control Panel. Select the game and uninstall it.
- Go to the directory where the game was installed. The default directory is 😄 \ Users \ [your username] \ AppData (or type the command %appdata% in the search menu).
- The game stores files in the LocalLow and Roaming folders. Go to the LocalLow folder and delete the "The Pokémon Company International" folder. Go to the Roaming folder and delete the "Pokémon Trading Card Game Online" folder.
- Empty the Recycle Bin and restart your computer.
- Make sure to remove all previously downloaded versions of the game. We recommend using a different web browser to download the file again (such as Firefox or Google Chrome). Visit https://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-tcg/play-online/download/ to download the latest game installer.


Uninstall for MAC
- Delete your Pokémon Trading Card Game Online folder, along with the downloaded installation files.
- Click "Go" located in the top window, press the "alt / option" key and select "Library".
- Go to the "Cache" folder. Delete any Pokémon-related folders you find.
- Again in the "Library", go to "Application status saved" and delete the folder "unity.The Pokémon Company International.Refresher.savedState".
- Empty the trash and restart your Mac.
- Make sure to remove all previously downloaded versions of the game. We recommend using a different web browser to download the file again (such as Firefox or Google Chrome). Visit https://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-tcg/play-online/download/ to download the latest game installer.


More information: Also make sure your machine meets the minimum specifications required to run the TCG (found at the bottom of the download page). You will also need to ensure a strong and stable Internet connection, as TCG requires constant communication with game servers.
