[GAME] - Electropower not working regularily...

Hello PTCGO,

I may have seen a bug...

In one game earlier, I played 2 Electropower on Alolan Raichu, twice and discarded one energy to knockout a 90 HP Zygarde (UNM #124)....

This game log shows a game I just recently played and some added info that will be needed for my discussion.

Electropower I believe is bugged possibly because it isn't calculating the damage regularily...

It showed damage equal to one electropower being used instead of 3.

Hope this helps.

Hello @Firewyn

I'm sorry to hear you think you may have found a bug. Has this only happened once or is this an ongoing issue?

Thank you for providing the game log, our development team can now review it to determine if it's a bug.

I've gone ahead and edited your post to include spoiler tags to reduce the game log size.

There seems to be a misunderstanding on what Electropower and Electro Rain do.
Electro Rain
Discard any amount of Lightning Energy from this Pokemon. Then, for each Energy you discarded in this way, choose 1 of your opponent's Pokemon and do 30 damage to it. (You can choose the same Pokemon more than once.) This damage isn't affected by Weakness or Resistance.

Electropower
During this turn, your Lightning Pokemon's attacks do 30 more damage to your opponent's Active Pokemon (before applying Weakness and Resistance).

First, Electropower only increases damage to the opponent's Active Pokemon. Your comment makes me believe you expected pokemon that were not the active to take additional damage.
Second, each choice of Electro Rain is not considered a separate attack, it is only one attack no matter the amount of energy discarded.
Example:
You play three Electropower. You use Electro Rain and discard 4 energy. You choose the enemy active 3 times and a benched pokemon one time.
You seem to believe each 30 point hit should be increased by 90, causing 360 damage to be dealt. This is incorrect. 90 (3 Electro Rain) + 90 (3 Electropower) = 180 damage, (which is what the game log shows.)
You choose a benched pokemon once. Electropower does not increase damage to benched pokemon. 30 damage is dealt (which is what the game log shows.)

There is no bug here.
