i love the new tag team GX cards, having already pre-ordered booster boxes from EB games i plan on seriously expanding my decks in RL. but it makes me think, with sword and sheild coming out what will

like the idea, can u try and edit it to be a bit more like ours, more formal and easier to read, love the idea of it

I like it, although giving it attacks in light of it's Ability seems redundant. Maybe the power should only specify GX attacks? And then give him another normal attack instead of a GX, maybe. Although

This attack cause 10 more damage for each {y} pokemon in play, and in the discard pile

 

(y}{y}+ Fluffy Snap Song GX 200
Your Opponent active pokemon is now asleep. If this pokemon has at least 7 extra {y} energy attached to it, for the rest of the game each time your opponent switch their active pokemon to another pokemon the new pokemon is now asleep also put 20 damage counters on it if its HP is more than 200.

here is a tag team trainer since they are parently a thing now

 

Ash and Gary tag team [trainer]

 

.search your deck for an evolution pokemon, place it on the pokemon it evolves from

(this can not be used for pokemon played or evolved on the current turn)

 

you may attach 4 basic energies from your hand, discard pile or lost zone to the pokemon you evolved,

flip a coin, if heads your turn continues, if heads your turn ends.

I got some ideas for Tag Team GXs

 

Nihilego & Stakataka both are rock type, which is fighting in TCG and both are Ultra beasts

 

Celesteela & Kartana Metal type and Ultra Beast.

 

Ok, that was the UBs. Here’s some more Tag Teams

 

Manaphy & Vaporeon

 

Zeraora & Jolteon

 

Volcanion (or Victini) & Flareon

 

Shaymin (or Celebi) & Leafeon

 

And... There isn’t any Ice type mythicals so Glaceon can team up someone else...

 

Maybe, Glaceon & Weavile (or Alolan Ninetales)

here is one i think could be cool.

 

eldergoss and jumppluff base HP: 210 [G]

 

[ability] cotton shield: your pokemon in play take 40 less damage (before applying weakness and resistance)

 

[G] [C]

extreme cotton spores: your opponents active pokemon is now poisoned and confused, flip a coin, if head they are also paralyzed.

 

 

[G] [G] [C]

seed storm 140: this attack does 20 damage to each of your opponents bench pokemon (dont apply weakness)

 

[G] [G] [ G] [C]

[GX] cotton wall 60: prevent all all effect of attacks and abilities including damage done to your [G] pokemon by pokemon EX and GX, this pokemon is now asleep

 

weakness: [F]     resistance: [W]           retreat cost: [C] [C] [C]

 

 

 

this card is more of a protector than a battler, but it still has a useful attack.

i feel like making tag team card with galar pokemon in them so here goes

 

cramorant and peliper  base HP: 260  [W]

 

[ability]  ?????:once per turn if this pokemon has a special energy attached to it search your deck for a tool or item card

fishing trip 150: if this pokemon has a tool card attached to it heal 100 damage

duo dive: if this pokemon healed last turn, prevent all damage done to this pokemon during your opponents next turn, this pokemon cant attack during your next turn

[GX] scoop up save 120: shuffle all cards from your discard pile and lost zone into your deck, if this pokemon has 6 extra [W] energies attached to it choose 10 cards and put them into your hand

[ability]  Hangry shock: if this pokemon has more than 100 damage counters on it, flip a coin, if head this pokemon does 40 more damage, if tails your opponents active pokemon is paralyzed

i am on a roll today

 

skarmory and corvkinght base HP: 280 

 

[ability]   Armored wings: if this pokemon takes damage form attacks, flip a coin if heads prevent that damage, if tails do nothing

 

steel wing 100: this pokemon takes 40 less damage during your opponents next turn

 

steel sky dive 210: this pokemon cant attack during your opponents next turn

 

 

??????????????: this pokemon takes half the damage it would normally take from attacks (before applying weakness and resistance)

here is another batch of sword and sheild tag teams.

 

 

slurpuff and alcremie  base HP 210  [Fairy]

 

[Ability]  irresistible aroma: if your opponent has used their GX attack you may place a pokemon from your hand onto your bench

refreshing taste 90: search your deck for a trainer card that heals pokemon, you may play that card, if you do this attack does 90 more damage

desert blast 130: if your opponents pokemon is knocked out by this attack, heal all damage from one of your pokemon

healing cream 180: heal all damage and special conditions from your pokemon, your pokemon cant be affected by special conditions for the rest of the game

I like ALOT of the Tag team ideas I see on this subject-This idea I second just as much! ^______^

here are some new dual type cards,

 

charizard and pikachu  base HP: 280  [F] [E]

 

[Ability] ???????: if you have no supporter cards in your hands, search your deck for up to 4 Ash cards

 

[F] [F] [E] [E]

flame bolt 220: if u played Ash during this turn u may leave your pokemon burned or paralyzed, discard 2 energy form this pokemon

 

[F] [F] [E] [E]+

[GX] thunder flare strike: choose one of the 2

. for every additional [F] or [E] energy attached to this pokemon place 3 damage counters on all of your opponents benched pokemon, (dont apply weakness and resistance to benched pokemon, ignore all effects that negate effects of this attack)

 

. if this pokemon has 1 extra [F] and [E] attached to it, when ever your opponent switches or plays a pokemon form their bench, that pokemon is paralyzed and burned, apply 4 additional damage counters to burned pokemon affected in this way.

sorry i have not posted, ran out of ideas, with a new batch of pokemon in sword and shield i have a bunch of new ideas, we should try and make this thread active again, also hope they continue TT cards into sword and shield series

i know this thread has kind of died down, but with V and VMAX now on the rage i figured we could start suggesting V and VMAX ideas here

i have one for charizard VMAX

 

charizard V  HP: 250  [F]

flame wheel 90: your opponents active pokemon is now burned

dyanamaxed flame 180: if your opponents active pokemon is burned, flip 4 coins instead of 1, if any of them is tails your opponts pokemon stays burned

 

weakness: [w]   resistance: [G]     retreat cost: [C] [C] [C]

 

then here is its VMAX card

 

charizard VMAX   HP: 350   [F]

 

[F] [F] [****** [C]

GMAX wildfire 200: if your opponents active pokemon is burned, ***** damage counters on it instead of 2, discard 3 energy from this pokemon
