[GAME] Wishful Baton glitch

Situation:

I had a Wishful Baton and 3 Fire Energy attached to my active Blacephalon (UNB); I was Escape Roped into it by my opponent.

My bench: damaged Blacephalon-GX (150 damage taken) with a Fire Energy attached, and regular (UNB) Blacephalon with nothing attached.

 

My opponent used Tag Bolt GX (with Thunder Mountain on the field and 5 Lightning Energy attached) to kill both my active Blacephalon, and my benched Blacephalon-GX. The game somehow thought my Wishful Baton was on my (benched!) Blacephalon-GX and only allowed me to move the one Fire Energy that was attached to my Blacephalon-GX to a benched Pokémon.

1: Blacephalon-GX wasn't holding a Wishful Baton

2: Blacephalon-GX was benched, and thus not active, thus it should not have been able to trigger a Wishful Baton.

 

My guess is that it has to do with the combination of Escape Rope and Tag Bolt GX, but it needs further testing (other stuff also happened during that turn that could have impacted it but it was unlikely to have impacted it).

 

Please fix this.

I'm sorry to hear you may have experienced a glitch.

 

If you run into this situation again or if you have saved the game log, would you please place a game log so we can review it to make sure what the exact situation was?

 

Game logs are definitely very useful in similar cases.

"Added: Wishful Baton (BUS #128, CIN #121): This card's effect does not trigger if a Benched Pokémon is Knocked Out at the same time as the Active Pokémon."
