Muk & Alolan Muk-GX loses severe poison after opponent attacks

Hello, 

 

I've played several games where I used severe poison attack where you put 8 damage counters between turns.  The first turn works, but sometimes after an opponent attacks, the defending pokemon is still poisoned, but only gets 1 damage counter between turns.  This bug really limits Muk & Alolan Muk-GX gameplay.
