Noivern GX don't allow play supporters

Noivern GX's attack, Distort, reads: Your opponent can't play any Item cards from their hand during their next turn. 

However, when my opponent attacks me with that, I can't play Supporters.

Supporters are Trainers, not Items; Distort is bugged.

Thank you for your report! This is due to the following known issue:

 

Effects that prevent the opponent from playing Item cards during their next turn also prevent Supporter and Stadium cards from being played.

In the bug thread about Seismitoad-EX, someone had already posted this (below), which is why the Known Issue doesn't list Seismitoad specifically.

I can confirm this as a bug. The bug affects all Pokemon whose attacks have an item-locking effect: Seismitoad-EX FFI, Luxio ULP, Dragonite PLF, Zebstrika NXD, and Noivern-GX BUS. Whenever the item-locking attack in question is used, it locks the opponent from playing any form of trainer card from their hand; items, supporters, etc.
