On June 11, 2019 the Pokémon TCG Online was updated to version 2.64. Changes in this version include:

  • Major refactor of the server logic for resolving attacks to address multiple long-standing, systemic bugs and improve overall consistency of gameplay.
  • Absol (ROS #40): This card can now be located when searching by its Ability or attack name.
  • Aether Paradise Conservation Area (GRI #116): The damage reduction effect on a Basic {G} or Basic {L} Pokémon no longer stacks each time it would take damage from an opponent's attack, resulting in progressively more damage being prevented than intended.
  • Alolan Marowak-GX (PR SM187): After a Pokémon uses Lost Boomerang GX any subsequent attacks made by that same Pokémon are no longer treated as though they also have the "If a Pokémon is Knocked Out by this damage, put that Pokémon and all cards attached to it in the Lost Zone instead of the discard pile." effect.
  • Bastiodon (STS #70): Damage counters from Counter Head's retaliation effect are no longer placed before all effects of the triggering attack are resolved.
  • Black Market Prism Star (TEU #134): The effect of this card now consistently functions if an effect such as Exp. Share removes all {D} Energy from a {D} Pokémon that has been Knocked Out by damage from an opponent's attack before that Pokémon leaves play.
  • Black Market Prism Star (TEU #134): This card's effect now properly applies to Benched Pokémon.
  • Celesteela (CES #100): The League-stamped version of this card is now properly flagged as an Ultra Beast card.
  • Dedenne-GX (UNB #57, 195, 219): Dedechange can no longer be multiple times on the same turn if Dedenne-GX is returned to the hand and replayed by a player that has no other copies of Dedenne-GX in play.
  • Energy Recycle System (CES #128): After closing the Energy selection prompt there is no longer a 3-5 second delay before the chosen cards are shuffled into the deck.
  • Flareon (BSP SM186): The text for Bite and Flare Spin now display properly on the attack selection buttons.
  • Garbodor (DRX #54, PLF #119, LTR #68, BKT #57): The effect of Garbotoxin now consistently ends if Garbodor leaves play while another Pokémon with an Ability suppression effect is in play.
  • Marshadow-GX (BUS #80, 137, 156): Shadow Hunt will now allow attacks to be selected from Basic Pokémon that were discarded from play due to a change in maximum Bench size.
  • Martial Arts Dojo (UNB #179): Now consistently increases damage done by attacks that have an additional effect that lasts until the end of the opponent's next turn.
  • Martial Arts Dojo (UNB #179): No longer increases damage done to Active and Benched Pokémon, rather than just Active Pokémon.
  • Mr. Mime (TEU #66): Scoop-Up Block no longer causes the effects of an HP-boosting Pokémon Tool, such as Buff Padding or Giant Dumbbells, to be doubled when the opponent attaches it to one of their damaged Pokémon.
  • Pikachu & Zekrom-GX (TEU #33, 162, 184, BSP SM168): Full Blitz can now be used if there are no cards remaining in the deck.
  • Pokégear 3.0 (HS #96, UNB #182, 233): More than 4 copies of Pokégear 3.0 can no longer be added to a deck by using a mix of the HS and UNB printings of the card.
  • Slaking (CES #115): The effect of Lazy now consistently ends if Slaking leaves play while another Pokémon with an Ability suppression effect is in play.
  • Turtonator-GX (BUS #18, 131, 148): Damage counters from Shell Trap's retaliation effect are no longer placed before all effects of the triggering attack are resolved.
  • Wobbuffet (PR #XY155): Damage counters from Right Back at You's retaliation effect are no longer placed before all effects of the triggering attack are resolved.
  • Attack effects that remove the attacking Pokémon from play are no longer processed after the game resolves any Knock Outs that occur due to the attack's damage, rather than before.
  • Cards removed from the attacking Pokémon to meet the requirement of an optional "if you do" attack effect are no longer removed before damage is calculated and applied to the Defending Pokémon, rather than after.
  • Cards selected for an attack that lets the player choose "any amount" of that card type to be moved to or removed from the attacking Pokémon are no longer moved/removed before damage is calculated and applied to the Defending Pokémon, rather than after.
  • A Pokémon copying the GX attack of a TAG TEAM Pokémon-GX should no longer be able to use the bonus effect of that attack without having the required type or amount of additional Energy attached.
  • The effects of the various Fairy Charm cards are now properly ignored by attacks whose damage is not affected by effects on the Defending Pokémon.
  • When a deck contains both foil and non-foil copies of a card the Print button no longer generates a deck list with the quantities of the non-foil copies only.
  • After logging out of the game, logging in with a different account without first closing and relaunching the client should no longer cause the original account's avatar to appear on the match loading screen and during gameplay.
