Help With Card Pool on Account

Greetings everyone!

I'm Augusto, and I'm a former Magic and Vanguard player. I Came to Pokemon for a influence of a friend, and I'm really loving the game.

In that case, I just thought "OK, I'll Build a card pool on my TCG Online and when I feel a need to test a deck, I'll just Mount it, but there is where the Problem began.

I Started buying 1000 codes. 500 from SM9 and 500 from SM10, my codes are from boosters with 6 cards since I live in Brazil, and I just opened nothing good or complete. Got 2 Jirachi's, 2 Pikachu and Zekroom, zero Charizards.

So my question is, what do you guys usually do to get a account with a good card pool?

Thanks in Advance :)

In short:Trade. The game has "economy" based on on packs as currency. Each card is valued according to the availability and demand, and therefore you can expect to get every single card in the game given enough packs. To see accurate values at each moment check trading section and take note on how much players are asking for card and how many packs they are offering for it. To get some kind of idea aproximate values, you  may google ou7c4st for his guide on values, however the guide isn't always updated and you should always check trading section for actual values. You can get tradable packs from tournaments (theme deck tournaments highly recommended at first) or daily challenges after lv16.

Now the taboo part:

Yes, you can use trading in your advantage by trading card by packs for little less than players are at the time asking from it and then trading it yourself for the usual market price and therefore growing your collection of packs and cards.

@kbtprog Sorry for the off topic but, would you be so kind to tell me the structure of 6 cards packs? Is it anything guaranteed? In the 10 cards you'll always find 5 common, 3 uncommon, 1 any rarity reverse and 1 rare or higher Some packs come with an energy too.

What 6 cards packs give? Is there a pattern? Is there a reverse too? Does a rare come in every pack? I always wanted to know. Thank you very much.

@Lalamon sorry for taking so long to answer you, I completly couldn't open here.

There is one pattern on opening 6 Pack booster -> Suffering.

Since I began I openned at least 700 boosters from SM9 and SM10. I didn't saw ONE Reshiran&Charizard. Found just two Jirachis, all the others tag teams, the only one who I've got 4 was Marchamp&Marshadow.

I started with the idea of a huge card pool, now I just will save the Staples and look for the cards from my real deck to train.
