Win Streaks

Hi all, sorry for my recent inactivity, I haven’t been having any time for the forums.

I am just wondering what win streaks people are getting and if it is common to be getting the ones i am?

I am still in the process pf making a turbo Darkrai deck (as I said I have not had alot of time) but recently with my unfinished deck I have got my past 3 winstreaks of 11 then 9 and am currently on 5. I have beaten all of the new tag team GX decks (gardevoir and sylveon, Lucario and Melmetal, Muk and Muk etc...) and all the old ones and basically every deck except Charizard and Reshiram GX (which has been the 2 recent losses). I have also been beating lycanroc decks which I have weakness to and Fairy decks with resistence. I am wondering if I should even change the deck at all 😂 

Does this normally happen with an unfinished deck??? I am Wondering what will happen when it’s finished! I have also got screenshots of the winstreaks if anyone needs proof!

Sorry in advance if this is really common, it just didn’t seem right

Good job winning! My largest win streak was 14 games if you wanted to know. Picsupes knows that as well.

 

Don't change your deck if you are winning. If you start losing, then look at your deck and figure out what you did wrong and what you did right. Then go from there.

 

And NO it doesn't normally happen with an "unfinished". You got lucky. Once I played three straight matches, and before the first card was drawn, my opponent(s) forfeited.

 

It's very common to get good win streaks if you are playing impressively.

Exceptional play and good compromises for missing cards can make it feel like a complete deck. Win streaks are pretty normal, just make sure when you go change the deck to your final version that it doesnt do worse or remember what made it good right now x)

There are multiple explanations for winstreaks, from my experiences:

1.starting from relatively low mmr. Simply put, due to being inactive or for whaever other reason it's real possibility to be lower than your skill level which may give you really nice streak before you start to slow down after hitting the mmr that represents your actual skill level.

2. Luck. Be it matchups lining nicely, opponents scooping randomly, having luck in draws and so on, they can quickly stack into streaks. Ofcourse, on flip side the losing streaks due to bad luck may give polar opposite experience.

3.Being really skilled. Well, last but not least, you may simply be amazing at the game, only losing games when there isn't way to win, playing most optimal deck and so on. 

Don't take these to seriously, for whatever reason you are having streaks, enjoy them!
