I don't know EevNorlax but ReshiZard is around 20 packs, not enough with what you offer.

 

Try to get packs in Theme events if you're new, to be able to trade for high value cards.

Actually, you should play Theme with any of the latest fire decks (Blazing volcano or Relentless flame) or any of the water counters to hit for weakness (Torrential cannon and Imperial command and maybe Hydro fury although it's the less powerful of the water decks), until you can improve your deck, your card collection and your deck building skills. In tournaments use to be Meta decks in play and there's no ELO matchmaking like in Versus so Theme event is the only you can play equally unless you have a Meta deck for Expanded or Standard.

 

In the deck above there's plenty of not high skilled cards and deck concept is not fine tuned.

 

To make it more viable add Sycamore (2) and N (2 or 3) and Ultra ball and Vs seeker (4 if you can, although starting the game you only have 1 in collection). Remove Cilan and Birch. Energy counting should be 15 as much . Trainers around 30. 2 Fan club should be enough. Thicker lines with 3 or 4 copies of the Main attacker strategy is the goal.

 

Check Deck construction subforum to see Staple cards for Expanded format and tips. You can publish your deck there and ask for help to tune it. Plenty of fellow trainers will help you for sure.

Well, seeing that there are some cards that have rotated out of standard format in the deck, only tournament type you can play with that particular build would be expanded. However, due to the powerlevel being extremely high in expanded, I would recommend instead buying theme deck and taking part theme deck tournaments. Good candidates as decks are Relentless flame, Blazing volcano, Torrential cannon and mach strike. Everyone is basically on same line in theme deck tournament, so chances of winning come down more to how well you can play the deck you chose and to little bit of luck, instead of expensive decks running rampant. If you however want to tune your custom deck you can create a thread to deck construction and get help from experienced trainers
