Change Log

Jun. 4, 2019

  • Added: Mr. Mime (TEU #66): Scoop-Up Block can cause the effects of an HP-boosting Pokémon Tool, such as Buff Padding or Giant Dumbbells, to be doubled when the opponent attaches it to one of their damaged Pokémon.
  • Added: Using an attack that returns the attacking Pokémon to the hand does not consistently require a new Active Pokémon to be promoted prior to resolving effects on other cards that trigger as a result of the attack.
  • Added: The placement of the For Want and For Review options in the filter window is swapped for some item types.
  • Added: While in List View, the Collector # column shows the wrong set size for cards from most XY series sets.

May 23, 2019

  • Added: Alolan Marowak-GX (PR SM187): After a Pokémon uses Lost Boomerang GX any subsequent attacks made by that same Pokémon are treated as though they also have the "If a Pokemon is Knocked Out by this damage, put that Pokemon and all cards attached to it in the Lost Zone instead of the discard pile." effect.
  • Added: Dedenne-GX (UNB #57, 195, 219): Dedechange can be multiple times on the same turn if Dedenne-GX is returned to the hand and replayed by a player that has no other copies of Dedenne-GX in play.
  • Added: Dewgong (UNB #45): The client becomes non-responsive for several seconds after using Dual Blizzard. Repeated used of Dual Blizzard may lengthen the duration of this non-responsive state and may eventually cause the match to crash.
  • Added: Energy Recycle System (CES #128): After closing the Energy selection prompt there is a 3-5 second delay before the chosen cards are shuffled into the deck.
  • Added: Lucario (UNB #126): The bonus damage for Rush Up is only applied if the Pokémon Tool card is still attached at the time the attack is used.
  • Added: Marshadow-GX (BUS #80, 137, 156): Shadow Hunt will not allow attacks to be selected from Basic Pokémon that were discarded from play due to a change in maximum Bench size.
  • Added: Pikachu & Zekrom-GX (TEU #33, 162, 184, BSP SM168): Full Blitz cannot be used if there are no cards remaining in the deck.
  • Added: The effects of the various Fairy Charm cards are not ignored by attacks whose damage is not affected by effects on the Defending Pokémon.

May 8, 2019

  • Updated: Martial Arts Dojo (UNB #179): Increases damage done to Active and Benched Pokémon, rather than just Active Pokémon. Due to the significant opportunity for exploitation, Martial Arts Dojo is temporarily banned from play until a fix for this bug can be deployed.
  • Added: Absol (ROS #40): This card cannot be located when searching by its Ability or attack name.
  • Added: Black Market Prism Star (TEU #134): This card's effect does not apply to Benched Pokémon.
  • Added: Flareon (BSP SM186): The text for Bite and Flare Spin do not display properly on the attack selection buttons.
  • Added: Stealthy Hood (UNB #186): Attempting to return a damaged Pokémon with Stealthy Hood attached to your hand while the opponent has Mr. Mime (TEU #66) in play will only return Stealthy Hood to your hand.
  • Added: When a deck contains both foil and non-foil copies of a card the Print button generates a deck list with the quantities of the non-foil copies only.

May 3, 2019

  • Added: Celesteela (CES #100): The League-stamped version of this card is not flagged as an Ultra Beast card.
  • Added: Martial Arts Dojo (UNB #179): Does not consistently increase damage done by attacks that have an additional effect that lasts until the end of the opponent's next turn.
  • Added: Martial Arts Dojo (UNB #179): Increases damage done to Active and Benched Pokémon, rather than just Active Pokémon.
  • Added: Pokégear 3.0 (HS #96, UNB #182, 233): More than 4 copies of Pokégear 3.0 can be added to a deck by using a mix of the HS and UNB printings of the card. The deck can be successfully saved but cannot be played in any format.
  • Added: In some specific cases a Pokémon copying the GX attack of a TAG TEAM Pokémon-GX can use the bonus effect of that attack without having the required type or amount of additional Energy attached.
  • Added: After logging out of the game, logging in with a different account without first closing and relaunching the client can cause the original account's avatar to appear on the match loading screen and during gameplay. Closing and relaunching the client or saving any change to your avatar fixes this display issue.

May 2, 2019

  • Added: Aether Paradise Conservation Area (GRI #116): The damage reduction effect on a Basic {G} or Basic {L} Pokémon stacks each time it would take damage from an opponent's attack, resulting in progressively more damage being prevented than intended. Due to the significant opportunity for exploitation, Aether Paradise Conservation Area is temporarily banned from play until a fix for this bug can be deployed.

  • Pokégear 3.0 (HS #96, UNB #182, 233): More than 4 copies of Pokégear 3.0 can be added to a deck by using a mix of the HS and UNB printings of the card. The deck can be successfully saved but cannot be played in any format.

General

  • An error may occur when attempting to uninstall the game via the Control Panel when installed in any language other than English. Running the Installer and selecting "Uninstall" will resolve the issue.
  • The Mac client may fail to install or update over a wireless connection for systems running OSX 10.12 or higher.
  • The PC client uses more that the intended amount of system memory when logging out of and back into the game without first closing and relaunching the client.

Gameplay: General

  • Attack effects that remove the attacking Pokémon from play are processed after the game resolves any Knock Outs that occur due to the attack's damage, rather than before.
  • Cards removed from the attacking Pokémon to meet the requirement of an optional "if you do" attack effect are removed before damage is calculated and applied to the Defending Pokémon, rather than after.
  • Cards selected for an attack that lets the player choose "any amount" of that card type to be moved to or removed from the attacking Pokémon are moved/removed before damage is calculated and applied to the Defending Pokémon, rather than after.
  • In some specific cases a Pokémon copying the GX attack of a TAG TEAM Pokémon-GX can use the bonus effect of that attack without having the required type or amount of additional Energy attached.
  • The damage counter marker remains present on a Pokemon that is returned to the hand if a Pokemon Tool card that increased its maximum HP was attached. This is a visual issue only and is corrected when a change occurs to Pokemon's maximum HP after being replayed, or when the Pokemon is moved to any zone other than in play or in the hand.
  • The effects of the various Fairy Charm cards are not ignored by attacks whose damage is not affected by effects on the Defending Pokémon.
  • Using an attack that returns the attacking Pokémon to the hand does not consistently require a new Active Pokémon to be promoted prior to resolving effects on other cards that trigger as a result of the attack.

Gameplay: Versus

  • Some players may not appear in the Versus Leaderboards, despite having earned Versus points during the time frame selected.

Cards: Collection

  • The placement of the For Want and For Review options in the filter window is swapped for some item types.
  • The pack type for unopened theme decks is Bundle Pack, rather than Theme Deck.
  • While in List View, the Collector # column shows the wrong set size for cards from most XY series sets.

Cards: Deck Manager

  • When a deck contains both foil and non-foil copies of a card the Print button generates a deck list with the quantities of the non-foil copies only.

Cards: Trading

  • While an avatar item is equipped any additional, tradable copies of that item in the Collection cannot be included in a trade offer.

Profile

  • After logging out of the game, logging in with a different account without first closing and relaunching the client can cause the original account's avatar to appear on the match loading screen and during gameplay. Closing and relaunching the client or saving any change to your avatar fixes this display issue.
