What Will Be The Next Overused Theme Deck In Unbroken Bonds?

So far in the Sun & Moon era when Ultra Prism was released it was all Match Strike, when Lost Thunder was released it was all Blazing Volcano and now when Team Up was released it was and has been all Relentless Flame Theme decks in the format and tournaments.  What will be next when Unbroken Bonds gets released?

Are there yet the new Theme lists?

I don’t think so, but we know the cards they’re based around, Zeraora and Mewtwo.

I know what is in the theme decks I just saw that on a video, but it was in a different language but you can see which cards in it, if you wanna see it yourself just look it up and scearh Mewtwo Zeraora, or something like that. I don’t remember all cards in them right now, but the Mewtwo deck had Incineroar, and the Zeraora deck ha electric Magnezone

I forgot to say that the Mewtwo deck has a lot of fire and psychic pokémon, and Zeraora deck has electric and some colorless.

Thanks for the info! I probably am going to buy the Mewtwo deck because the Mewtwo has an awesome ability, and I really want the Incineroar.

No problem! And yeah Mewtwo has a really cool ability, and I think the Zeraora deck is really great too, because of the Magnezone. I forgot to mention that both decks (I’m not sure if both.) had fisherman, I think it works well with the Zeraora deck.

I'll save my opinion for when the decks are playable, but here's a list of Pokemon lines in the next Theme Decks (minus the obvious main Pokemon):

Zeraora:
Raticate (Night Unison)
Dodrio (Double Blaze)
Stunfisk (Double Blaze)
Magnezone (Forbidden Light)
Meowth (Double Blaze) (didn't see Persian)

Mewtwo:
Turtonator (Dragon Majesty)
Meowth (Double Blaze) (didn't see Persian)
Darmanitan (Double Blaze)
Incineroar (Double Blaze)
Salazzle (Double Blaze)

Pokemon-wise the decks seem to be a step down (multiple sets worse, it's like we're back at "let's throw some random cards in the decks" rather than an actual theme that started with the Empoleon and Garchomp decks), but the reveal video was too unclear to see every single card properly (had to actually do some Dragon-Type hunting until I realized the Dragon-Type in the Mewtwo deck was Turtonator, and I ignored most cards that looked like pre-evo's due to how unclear everything was, except Meowth since I didn't see Persian), so maybe the Trainer selections save them and maybe I missed something big.

Well the only trainer I could see was Lillie, Hau, Looker and Fisherman.

Full decklists are known, and it's nothing unusual. Simple 3(-3)-2 lines (at least that means 2 Magnezones and 2 Incineroars) and very basic Trainers (for instance, the Zeraora deck has 4 Hau's AND 4 Lookers, kinda overkill), and only 16 of them meaning the amount went down again. 2 Cynthia's each but with the previous Theme Decks everyone should have 4+ copies of it now, and 2 Welders for the Mewtwo deck which is nice.

Also, Let's Play Pikachu and Eevee decklists are known, and they're surprisingly good: they're just barely below the level of the Zeraora and Mewtwo decks. They also have a surprising amount of Trainers despite the announcement they'd have fewer: 14, which is still less than most Sun/Moon Theme Decks, but more than almost all Theme Decks ever released including the first Sun/Moon ones! Also very completed evolution lines (only leaving Air Mail Pidgeotto without evolution which is fine thanks to its ability, and Lickitung which is disappointing but still far better as a drawer than the Meowth's in the Zeraora and Mewtwo decks!), and very usable Pokemon in the Theme Deck format like Raikou and Moltres.

The set will come out in a few days, and I’m guessing it will on PTCGO too, so if you want a UBB deck, you just have to wait a few days.

May the 3d is when they're officially released, so that's probably when they're added. That'll probably also be the date the Let's Play decks will be added to TCGO (those decks are already being sold, but the code cards don't work yet), so we may have 4 new decks at once to try out.
