Wrong Action: My enemy hit me with a Zapdos, "KOed" my Heracross, it hit head on Guts, his Zapdos got the 10 damage counters(he hit for 110 dmg) and my Heracross actually did get KOed.
Correct Action: Heracross should survive with 10 remaining HP when KOed and not do damage to the enemy's active pokémon.

 

Quickly translated from the language I play the game:

 

79. xinyou333's Zapdos used Thunderous Assault and caused 110 damage to Purkeypile's Heracross. 

80. Purkeypile played 1 coin and got 1 heads and 0 tails to the Guts effect. 

81. xinyou333 got a Prize card. 

82. Fomantis is Purkeypile's new active pokémon. 

83. Purkeypile's Heracross was knocked out.

Where Card number, just pointing Heracross is BUS 11 (and Zapdos is TEU 40). BUS 40 is a Pikachu.

 

So, Zapdos came out from Bench (10+70 damage) + I suppose 1 Electro power (+30) = 10+70+30 = 110 damage.

 

Your Heracross with 110HP, flip the coin getting Heads (so no Alolan Muk or something else denying abilities).

 

I guess no poison and no burning of course, would be in the log.

 

This way with this info only seems a clear bug. Have you been able to reproduce it again?

 

For you to know, a Mod will come to say you send the Log to Support.

I also ran into this issue, an opponent flipped heads when I ko'd their herracross and it left my Zoroark with 10 hp. Their card was still KO'd and this lost me the round.

would like to confirm the Heracross Habb Bug, actually when it is activated the Opponent's Pokemon gets only 10 HP to be Knocked out, this effect plus Shrine of Punishment leaves the broken game, I believe that an immediate Ban of the card is necessary.

At this point, anyone using a Guts card is aware of this issue. This is now cheating. So you're right.

Just had the same issue with my game too. I was attacking with Ampharos-EX's Thunder Rod, and I assumed the bug might've been from this move's "ignore effects of defending Pokemon" trait. Clearly this is just a bug with Guts though.

Just had someone pair this with Shrine of punishment. Absolutely broken. The guy even tailored the deck around the bug, it was brutal.

Just encountered this same bug -- I agree with above posters that the card should be banned.  His deck was designed precisely to use this bug (poison barb + shrine).

This has been done. I have just done it myself to be sure.

 

I played against a trainer so as not to cheat. this is the relevant portion of the log, the full text of which has already sent to support:

 

    88. It is now Brittney's turn (Turn #8).
    89. Brittney drew a card.
    90. Brittney attached a Fire Energy to Magmortar.
    91. Brittney's Magmortar used Twin Bursts and did 320 damage to SandaledOtter's Heracross.
    92. SandaledOtter flipped 1 coin(s), resulting in 1 heads and 0 tails, for Guts.
    93. Brittney took a Prize card.
    94. Heracross became SandaledOtter's new Active Pokémon.
    95. SandaledOtter's Heracross was Knocked Out.
    96. It is now SandaledOtter's turn (Turn #9).

 

In this test, I had 4 Heracross BUS11/147 in play to allow for bad coin flip, so a new Heracross became active at the end.

Yes. This is, however, the first time I can recall that such an easily abusable bug that favors the person using the card has not resulted in a temporary ban of the card.
