Detective Pikachu expansion

Hi folks,

I’ve only been playing for a few weeks after a good 18 years or so away from the game. Just wondering if and when the Detective Pikachu expansion will be added to the app, since the cards are out today I believe. I know you can’t buy expansion packs on their own, but not sure if this will apply for the app too...

The 18 cards from the small Detective Pikachu set were added to the app today.  You can view them by checking the "Show Not Owned" box.

 

Like the special promo sets before it (Dragon Vault, Double Crisis, Generations, Shining Legends, Dragon Majesty), you won't be able to purchase these "promo only" booster packs in the game.  The only options are to purchase the promo boxes IRL, adding the code card, or to trade from those who have.

In addition to the 18 cards in this set, there are 8 promos. 3 of these are in-store exclusives for 3 different chain stores (depending on what country you live in), meaning no one gets them without some running around and tracking down the various stores' events. The final 5 are part of the promo boxes, meaning you need to grab all of those four times over to get them.
