Hey folks, just found an article that just came out, that states that there well be more Live Pokemon movies coming out, with Detective Pikachu being just the beginning.  That, along with the fact that a sequel seems to already be in the works.

 

From the sounds of things, Legendary Entertainment is taking full advantage of the hype that Detective Pikachu is already building from the trailers and other materials alone.  With a movie that is supposedly called Pokemon Red and Blue, which is based off of the original two games, and takes places in the same world as Detective Pikachu, well, would be one reason to visit the movie theaters during the summer.  Look out DC, look out Marvel, here comes Pokemon paving it's own way back to the big screen with it's own storyline..

And with the wormholes from SuMo, they've already solved the Multiple Identities problem, that DC takes care of with its multiverse and Marvel largely ignores (which is a valid way of dealing with it).

 

Of course, their audiences probably aren't in too much conflict...

Wow, I had not heard of this. I am actually really excited to hear they may make a live action movie based on the original games which were my favorite.
