Booster packs missing code.

Was in Spain recently and saw Pokemon TCG cards, decided to start collecting. Bought a starter deck - Sun&Moon Burning shadows, 5 booster packs Sun&Moon (all said Contains a code card for 1 booster pack) but when opened booster packs - none of the 5 had a code card. Is it normal?

Not a big loss, but still - feel a little bit let down.

id hate to tell you this, but you proably bought counterfeited pokemon cards or resealed packs.

 

if all 5 packs were missing code card then its highly likely one of the 2 options i listed above.

Eh, I suspected it to be like this. Oh well. guess I will trust only proper game shops from now on. Even though - these were super well made, so my guess is Resealed or re-packed. Thanks for your answer!
