Fast Battle Mode

Would you add mode for the fast and quick gamers like this?; Cards shouldn't moving or tackling when using moves and only hits small type attack + putting dmg counters(like as alazakam-ex, trevenant break moves). what you think?

Are you kidding me?

You literally have a thread where you complain about the lack of “cool” animations and now you ask for a faster game mode? Guess what, if we could disable animations the game would run much faster.

There are a gazillion little animations that slow the game down unnecessarily to please new players and with every graphic overhaul the game adds more gameplay bugs.

If the developers would stop caring about impressing 5 year olds with flashy animations and actually start to implement much needed quality of life improvements (being able to chat with your friend list while you are in a game, a spectator feature, rank mode, improved selection screen for decks, etc.) this game would be 10 times better.

new attack animations seems to complex because of cards have too much different moves. Even nintendo deals hard with the new moves every generation on pokemon games. my suggestion is the nearly same with you. only putting damage counters on attacks will be good and fast.

I'm not sure the 5-year-olds care much about that.  I'd say the graphic appeal is more for the 10+ range.

This was probably more on-topic on your other thread about animations, but since the conversation was moved over here I'll post it in this thread.

Just for you to have an idea, take a look at the feedback thread on the big visual overhaul done towards the end of 2015 (forums.pokemontcg.com/topic/35179-producers-letter-new-v232-play-experience-discussion/). The most highly reputed post ever in all of the PTCGO's forum history (other than jcgss's thread on the canned chat, which passed it by a single reputation point) it's from a guy complaining about the changes (with probably an emphasis on the fact that the choice to remove animations was removed). In fact, anyone who tried to say anything possitive about the visual update at all got downvoted into oblivion, including some old and respected members of the community. That's just how poorly these changes were recieved by the TCGO players.

So if we went by popular opinion, there is no way in **** TPCi will make any major changes to the animations ever again. It's just not happening. As cliche as it is, pigs will grow wings and fly before a new visial overhaul is attempted again in this game. And if it does happen, I swear I'll eat _ my hat (pardon the random hyphen, the censors are riddiculous).

I agree, it's too slow a match with all the animations

I don't know if I have a right to share here a simple lifehack, but... There is some programs, allowing to change speed of the game to 0,25x, 0,5x, 2x, 5x etc...

So, when speed of Pokemon Trading Card Game Online is changed to 2x, the game plays unbelievably more comfortable, even with all this fancy animations.

Does this actually save any time though? In your opponent's screen the animations should still be playing at normal speed, meaning that the game shouldn't be able to progress until your opponent finishes watching the full length of the animation. From your perspective it should look like your opponent is playing slowly.

It definetely saves some time on loading screens and transition screens, coin flip animations etc.
Yup, you're right - some opponents even with 2x gamespeed seems to be playing slowly (obviously I can't blame them for that).
But when I turn speed back to 1x, not only some opponents, but absolutely everything looks painfully slow. That's quite uncomfortable.

Not sure if I really get it but, theoretically this would work awesome in the trade section if actually speeds the charging process. As it depends on the communication with servers, not sure tho if it makes it faster or not 🙄
