After the February update, that is the message my computer tells me when trying to open the game. Please don't tell me it's moving on from Windows 8.1 support this early?

According to the system requirements (listed on the download page here), the minimum operating system for Windows is Windows 7 SP2+.

 

I recommend completely uninstalling the program and grabbing the latest installer from the download page that I linked above.
