About Uncommon Chests

It seems to me that getting tradable Uncommon Chests used to be a lot easier.  Am I remembering right?  Weren't they on the Spinning Wheel too?

 

The only place I see tradable copies -- although there are trade-locked ones on the VS Ladder -- is if you get 5th thru 8th place in Events, which means basically that you lost your first game.

 

Anymore, does this mean that someone who has a large stockpile sucks at tournaments?

 

P.S.  I got 5 of them today.

Or they traded for them, or just haven't gotten rid of them.

 

I have tickets enough for 100+ theme tourneys. Were I to do all those, I'd surely end up with quite a few chests.
