I'm doing pretty good so far but there is still a lot things i'm running into that are destroying me.

I understand there is a meta but i'm just working with what i have.

Here's a deck list from the only Lost March in Top 8 at the last major U.S. Regionals (Standard format).  It may not give you answers, but hopefully the comparison will come in handy.

From my experience, Lost March is one of those situational decks, so don't beat yourself up if it's not winning 90% of the time.  With a good setup, it rocks.  If not, ???.  In the last couple months, this deck is barely in the in the Best 12, if that.

What's the super boost for?

It's a tech card against Shuckle-GX, which is also a relatively new card.  Shuckle's Ability prevents all damage if your opponent's Pokémon have 2 or fewer Energy attached to them.  Without the Super Boost, you're kind of SOL with Jumpluff having a single Energy attached.  It saves your Double Colorless for the cards that need them (e.g. Natu), and helps if your opponent is slamming you with Hammers.

P.S.  Lost March seems to do better on the VS Ladder (in-game) than it may at IRL tournaments.  Please don't let my earlier comment discourage you from playing this very good deck.  In the Online game, many will concede prematurely just because they think you've outpaced them.

Being a nice deck, I'm not sure 100% about the Nincada going to Lost zone. Is there yet official ruling about it? Anyway, most of the Lost March decks, doesn't include this tech. But if you want it I would go with 2-2.

Most popular list would look like this:

##Pokémon - 24

* 4 Trumbeak LOT 165
* 4 Hoppip LOT 12
* 4 Skiploom LOT 13
* 4 Jumpluff LOT 14
* 3 Natu LOT 87
* 2 Oranguru SUM 113

* 2 Marshadow SLG 45
* 1 Tapu Lele-GX GRI 60

##Trainer Cards - 28

* 4 Cynthia UPR 119
* 2 Professor Elm’s Lecture LOT 188

* 3 Lillie SLG 62

* 3 Guzma BUS 115

* 4 Great Ball SUM 119
* 4 Ultra Ball SUM 135
* 3 Net Ball LOT 187
* 3 Lost Blender LOT 181
* 2 Rescue Stretcher GRI 130

##Energy - 8

* 4 Double Colorless Energy
* 3 Grass Energy

* 1 Super Boost Energy {*} UPR 136

Total Cards - 60

About techs, there are lists with 1 Ditto {*} LOT 154 (this is cool to me), 1-1 Magcargo CES 24, 1-1 Machoke GRi 64 or 1 Tapu Koko (Promo 30/31). Half the people doesn't include the Lele-GX. Competitively, AFAIK, no Shedinja has appeared in any major tournament.

The least include some of Nest ball, Timer ball, Choice band, Acro bike or F blower. It's more common a 4th Lost blender.

4 DCE and 4 Grass or the above shown energies is the usual. The lists with 7 energies just remove the Boost but I wouldn't do it.

Your list though looks good. I just would go with 2-2 Shedinja, remove the Bill's+1 Judge+Fan club cutting a couple grass energies, total 6 spots, to add +3 Great ball or Ultra ball (or a mix) +3 Lillie,. And then go on from there if you want to modify anything else

Nincada and Shedinja attach to a Skiploom and all 4 go to the lost zone with floral path. It's risky to lose your defense like that but if you have the hand early (in my experience) then it's really good to just ramp it and start swinging.

  • 1 month later...

I'm curious to know if there are any different builds of the deck out there, I have all the standard Lost March cards but want to weigh my options if there are cards in the game that support the deck other than the Emolga build that seems to be popular.
