[GAME] Missing Card in v2.61 Update

Yesterday, we had XX cards in our Collection (shown by the Different Cards Owned statistic).

 

Today, after the v2.61 Update, the DCO Stat shows XX-1.  One is missing.

 

While not 100% certain, I believe the missing card is a Basic Fairy Energy, possibly a Foil version.

 

Steps To Reproduce:

 

>  Create Trade

>  Public Trade

>  I Am Getting

>  Energy Tab

>  Energy Filters, Fairy Energy, Apply

 

One of the Fairy Energy shows a blank pink card, with an exclamation point.  If you hover over that button, it says, "Asset Download Error."  BTW, clicking that button takes you to the Pokémon Support page.

 

For me, I own 16 of this card.  I can see it available in Public Trade offers, but it does not show in my Collection as an "owned" card.  My son owns one, with the same result.

 

NOTE:  I am positive that a card is missing with this update.  I scoured our Collections, and this is the most likely cause.

Judging from my observations on the collection tab, owned and not owned, there are two foils per main set, one regular foil and one reverse foil. However, I see two kinds of foils working that have the Evolutions set symbol, but only one foil working on XY Base...

 

Since it's from a main set, I can imagine what other people will see if they do pull it... Will their game crash? Will they not be able to access the game again until the Devs fix the problem? Regardless of whether or not those cases are actually happening, I hope the admins discover that and fix it...

Can you be more specific about which reverse holo you're wondering about?  There are quite a few "alternate" cards in both sets that are exclusive to Theme Decks, Promo Tins, Battle Arena Decks, etc.  I looked at XY Base Set and Evolutions, and don't see any problem with missing cards.  I'm not missing any at least.

 

I'll check for any concerns you may have.

I'm 99% sure that the bug (missing from Different Cards Owned) is a Basic Fairy Energy. I just didn't want to commit 100%, maybe being wrong, and have everyone fully aware how dumb I can be at times.

I looked up the definition of Reverse Holo/foil. Found that pokemon, trainer, and special energy cards only have one rather than two foils, and the aforementioned regular "foil" is actually made with something else, but not every pokemon in a set has a foil, and despite the thought that the same applies for energy, the only basic energy card foils that are a double of the same card are cards classified as rares, rare holos, and/or promos(including cards obtained from special collections such as Theme Decks, Battle Arena, Tins, among other promo methods). With that, I thought that the XY Base Set basic fairy energy has a reverse holo, but since it's a common there, unless my thinking is proven as incorrect, my previous statement is proven as half-true, judging by symbol on bottom-right corner of card in pre-SM sets(moved to bottom-left SM-On):

 

 

 

1. Despite the fact that Evolutions is a promo "Concept pack" in Japan, and that it's not a promo pack in the International version, the foil is still in the International verison of Evolutions, but since it's not technically a promo there, that holo breaks the "the only basic energies that get foils are rares" convention, but...

 

 

 

2. there is actually no existent Fairy foil in XY Base, as it's not rare nor promo there, despite the fact that I initially thought there was...

 

 

 

^ With that, I also found a foil basic Fairy energy in the first Battle Arena deck(Xerneas vs. Yveltal), printed "©2013 Pokemon" on the bottom-left corner. After some review, I found the error to be on a foil energy w/ the same bottom-left corner printing. I wonder if that is the error fairy energy. Think that is the answer to your issue? I have the error fairy as well, if only by a trade from someone w/ said Battle Arena deck ...

Okay, I see where you're going with this now.

 

Thank you for helping unlock the puzzle.  I have that Xerneas Battle Arena Deck, which has the same Foil Energy as the 2016 Xerneas Tin.  I looked, and THAT IS NOT IT.

 

So, I went back into the trade window.  Playing around with the Filters, it turns out to be a League Energy, which happens to be foil.

 

Hopefully this will help the Devs fix the issue.
