Mechanics: (Profile?) New Challenges not opening

Hi again, got a twofer today...

So, I just entered the challenges and was greeted with a splash screen saying that I can now choose more than one daily challenge per day. I looked at the options and picked one. After completing I returned to the daily challenge options, and it asked if I would like to claim a new challenge? I took it and instead a timer (which essentially reset the already pending time) started at 23hrs 59mins and counting...

 

Unsure if I was supposed to get that splash screen and option, or if the option itself is bugged since I didn't get more than one challenge. When I claimed the second it just reset saying the next challenge was available in 24hrs... That is no different than I had before. LOL! 

Unfortunately, no info to recreate or help finding said bug, other than maybe grind VS for the first tier then check your daily challenges when the time pops... I don't know if it was delayed from my trainer reaching level 3 (24-48hrs ago) then just glitched up or if it was because of my VS wins or what... Sorry I have little to go on...

This happens all the time, and is working the way it's supposed to.  You only get one new Daily Challenge per day.  As you progress in the game, you'll get more slots available (up to 3), but still only get a single new Challenge daily.  The extra slots are for ones you accepted yesterday, and the day before, but haven't completed yet.

 

Basically, there are a couple different ways to accept today's Daily Challenge.

 

After daylight savings time went into effect, it happens at 4:00 PM (Pacific Standard Time, on the west coast of U.S.A.).

 

If you're currently online at 4:00 PM, you won't see the "splash screen."  Instead, when you check your Daily Challenges, you have a button that says, "Redeem" (or something similar).  If you click that button, you get today's Challenge.

 

On the other hand, if you log in after 4:00 PM on any given day (and you haven't done the above), you'll see that splash screen, giving you the day's choices.  There's no way to back out of that splash screen, so you must accept one.  Keep in mind, you've now accepted that day's only Challenge.  So, if you go to the Daily Challenges section, the Redeem button is still there.  That's a minor graphical glitch, since you've already accepted.  When you click it, it starts the countdown for the next one you'll get tomorrow.

Simplest way to say that is: if you've taken the day's daily challenge, the option to redeem a challenge shouldn't be there (it exists for players who play at the time of the daily challenge reset, so they can take one without having to reset the client. It's also a safeguard for if for some reason you didn't get greeted with the option to pick a daily challenge), but for some reason it's there. But since it's not supposed to be there, it doesn't work.
