Suggestions to a Lunala standard version deck?(I dont have Malamar)

The relevant cards I have is Lunala standard, swampert, ditto prism star, magcargo amd GX I have only 1 Espeon

I suggest you play Theme VS for a while, getting coins grinding the ladder to get more Theme decks and have a larger pool of cards to build custom.

 

If you don't have it yet, Blazing volcano or Relentless flame are the two best Theme in play right now. Other option are the fire-counter decks, Torrential cannon, Imperial command or Hydro fury (if you said you have Swampert, probably you own that last?).

 

Even you should play some tournaments with this good decks, to try to get some tradeable packs. A couple Malamar can be gotten with a pack probably.

 

2-1 Malamar comes at 500 coins in Twilight rogue Theme deck. It's not itself a great Theme, but there's some nice staple cards in it: 2-1 Malamar, Cynthia, Field blower, Rescue stretcher, Lillie, Nest ball, Brooklet hill, Kukui and Switch.

 

About building a custom deck, you should own more than 1 copy of each card. If you have Lunala and will be your main attacker, you need 3 or 4 Lunala, a couple Magcargo as Tech, One Magcargo GX could be OK but 2 will give consistency to your strategy. One Espeon (GX?) is OK, unless you base your deck in it.

 

Lunala though, is not the best attacker. You need 3 or 4 energies to make enough damage (no matter if GUR or CES Lunala), and a way to attach it. In addition, Psy only make it harder to mix with other types.

 

To build a good deck is better to think a strategy an get the cards, than build with what you have in collection. You said you don't have Malamar hence you know is the card you need. The "hidden" point of the game is TRADE. Is in the game name but a lot of people forget about it. However, bring us a list and we can suggest you how to improve in your  budget or what cards to trade for.
