She and the girl with the parka were added to the game after the trainer challenge was created.  I have never seen their avatars anywhere besides the main screen.

But I haven't seen her since some weeks ago.

When i began to play, at June 2018, she wasn't her.

 

I'm intrigued about that girl.

I noticed this too and wondered if there will be a new trainer challenge opponent. I only know as much as you about this subject so we'll have to see what this mysterious Soccer Girl has lined up for us in the future!
