Deck Destruction (?) Question...

Hey all, I hope this is the appropriate place to post this (seemed most relevant)...

 

Anyway, used to play Pokemon TCG back in the 90's and now deciding to play the game with my son, and reliving some nostalgia.

 

My issue is that I redeemed a few hundred booster pack and deck codes to build my online library of cards. In all of that mess I must've redeemed two dual pack battle decks (or maybe won one from the game then entered the code for the same thing -- whatever)...

Anyhow... I am really a weird fella when it comes to organization... It's a part of my OCD...

 

In my deck manager I have 4 decks, two and two, that repeat. It's driving me up the wall...

 

My question is - if I were to delete the two duplicated decks, will the cards just vanish, or will the deck box disappear from my deck manager but the cards remain in my selection of "Unlimited" deck cards? (to be clear I've seen this question posted before, but it was a manually cloned deck issue -- this is not, it is a duplicate set of retail theme decks)

I really want to delete the boxes but fear losing the awesome EX and M.EX cards inside as well as a few useful evolution lines and trainers I may wish to employ in the future.

If you delete a deck from your deck manager, you will not lose the cards. They will return to your collection.

They don't return nowhere. They are already in the collection all the time; unless you trade them away.

 

When you modify anything in Deck manager, you just erase or modify the build, but you never miss the cards.

 

You got the deck more than once by a code (so you had to go to collection and open the second to add the cards to collection, if not, should be in Collection> Packs as a box, unless is some "special" deck that auto-opens.

 

You can simply and without fear, erase the decks if they don't like you or are not good. Or erase just one to don't have'em repeated.

I have seen conflicting comments around the internet where people reinforced what you've stated and then others were like, "delete the deck and delete the cards with it." 

I had no idea which were the trolls... Thank you very much for your time and responses.
