I just got my hands on the team up booster pack for 2 Lost Thunders. What is the approx value for which I should sell it.

Also is it going to be available in the in-game store in the future, or is it gonna be like dragon majesty??

Team Up is a regular set, which means it will be available in the game's Shop, along with the Theme Decks from that set.  So you know, the official release date isn't until today, approx. 4-1/2 hours from this timestamp.  For the last few sets, they make the cards/boosters go live the day before, as a reward to players who have Code Cards from prerelease events in the real world.  But they don't "sell" those items (for Tokens) until the physical cards are officially available in stores and card shops.

 

As for you acquiring one of the Team Up boosters for 2 Lost Thunders?  ...I think you overpaid, and got caught up in the hype of a new set.  If someone makes you a "profit" above that, please have them send me a PM for more.  We'll see how it all works out, but in just a couple days, you should expect those sets to be fairly equal (1:1).  Newness wears off quickly.

Nearly every "packs for packs" trade posted is by someone trying to turn X into 2X into 200X. These types of trades always favor the poster by at least a little, and occasionally by a lot.

 

When you see a pack-for-pack offer, look for the reverse one. Team Up for Lost Thunder? Search for Lost Thunder for Team Up. Look at the disparity in offers. Maybe look at the name of the person offering it, you might even see the same person on both sides, giving away their intent.

 

As for the value, it's likely somewhere between those flipped offers.

 

All that said, when a new pack is released, if you are careful, you might be able to gain a bit by accepting the posted offers, because the values are still in flux.

If you're going to trade away that Team Up booster, there's nothing wrong with experimenting in Public trading, but today is when it's worth the most it will ever be.

 

Nobody knows the exact value.  That's the situation we're all in.  There are usually some players who are wildly searching for the newest boosters, and some of them will trade higher than normal (sometimes substantially) to get them.  Most of us should wait.

 

Like I mentioned earlier, there's a lot of hype and chaos when a new set comes out.  There always is.  And there are always the regular profiteers (bigger traders) who know this, and purposefully take advantage.  Yet, I wouldn't make this a long-term investment, because in the next couple of days much of the frantic trading will have leveled off.

And those of use who go to Prereleases don't care what the big traders are doing, we just know we're getting 3:1 ratios on what the pack will be worth is a month.
