[CARD] Xatu (LTR 56/113) - Stuck after Opponent used Fortunate Draw

Help! I'm currently stuck in a no-countdown no-concede position after my opponent, [Content removed - Mod_Jynthu], used Xatu 56/113's Fortunate Draw to get us stuck. He commented a happy face right before doing so. I already reported him but am posting this for more details. I apologize if I put this in the wrong topic center, or for any false accusation. I'd post a screenshot if there was an option.

my opponent, [names_are_not_allowed], used Xatu 56/113's Fortunate Draw...

...to get us stuck

First sentence is actually very funny.

About the second I'm not sure. Can't you play R-P-S?

You think I'm being funny? No! I have proof if posting screenshots was allowed.

I didn't know names weren't allowed and am sorry for that.

You see, he used it, I picked scissors, and he just sat there. Then, it alternated between Counting his time down and counting mine down, until they both eventually stopped.

Could this be a bug instead of a hack?

Funny is to play R-P-S. Funny is the attack itself.

I never found the issue in front nor played this Xatu.

It's possible the game suffer from being a weird attack and there's a bug there AKA it's bad implemented.

update us on how long you are stuck and let us know if you eventually outlasted him and won.

Will do!

Oh okay. Yeah it could be, but it seemed intentional as he waited until I had 1 Prize Card left and didn't attack nor attach energy until then. And the smiley face was peculiar.

Actually, I have been in this situation before. I don't know if you use a PC, but when something like this happened to me, I just turned my computer off and then got back on the game.

Also, what is the name of the guy?

Hello thereisnoneleft,

I have modified your post to remove your opponent's name as calling other players out is not permitted on the forums. I have also moved your topic to the Report a Game Bug subforum and updated the title to be more descriptive.

Did you save your game log from this match? Is it possible that your connection was interrupted after your opponent's turn? Sometimes even a slight interruption can result in a game that appears stuck.

Like I said, the game never finished, so I wasn't able to save a game log. Sorry for mentioning someone's name; I had no idea that wasn't allowed.

I still think it was intentional, as his deck was strange and he commented a smiley face before getting us stuck. I highly doubt it was a connection issue though.

I just hope I'm not banned for reporting the player wrongly.

It would be very difficult to hack the system.  Possible, of course, but you'd have to very quickly get into the server and mess around with it without disconnecting anybody or ending a match on accident.  And it seems to me that if you did manage to hack, you'd just make yourself win a bunch of games quickly or something like that rather than stall everyone out.

I'd say it's almost certainly a bug.  It sucks that you had to waste all that time, though.

I had the same struggle, but i think i found out where the problem is. Your opponent had an empty deck probably, but the game cannot handle that with Fortunate Draw. If your opponent wins, you discard 3 but it's going to do the Fortunate Draw again until you win or your deck is empty, if your deck is empty as well thanks to Fortunate Draw, you're stuck in the match. I recorded this as well (to try and figure out where it was), so if i need to send the video as well, i'll do it.
