New Collection tips

Hello everyone,

 

I am looking to rebuild a collection of Pokemon cards. I am a 90s baby and love the original 151 as well as 2nd generation. I currently have some old base, jungle and fossil cards with a few rares. I just purchased an xy evolutions booster box which is en route. I ultimately want to collect the first 2 generations and have that nostalgic rush. What decks besides xy evolutions will help build the first 2 generations and should I be expecting more and upcoming deck releases that reprint base, fossil or jungle sets? Any tips would be appreciated.
