Does this game has a Christmas discount ?

I'm wondering if i should spend all my in-game tokens now or i should wait and see if they are going to make a discount on the biggest year holiday, what do you think ? Talking about trading card game online.

Highly unlikely. At most, I could see some special blister pack or something like that being offered in the shop, and even then that's unlikely. Personally, I'd just hold on to my tokens. IMO the best possible thing you can do with tokens:

 

1) Always keep a good amount in reserve to create Public Trades. You don't need that many, but if you spend every last token you might find yourself awkwardly wondering why you can't create trades.

 

2) Keep 1000 tokens ready to buy the 2 new Theme Decks for each new expansion. They won't all be tier 1 decks on-release, but often times the new decks end up being pretty good. That aside, you'll also get a ton of new cards (possibly some new staples as well some new Pokemon that could be put into a good Standard/Expanded deck).

 

Other than that you can do as you wish with your tokens. Just don't hold up hopes for a Christmas special or something xd

I've never seen a discount on Christmas. Neither even on Halloween which is lot more celebrated with special events and dedicated sleeves and boxes.

 

I'm not saying is not happening, but if it would gonna happen, they should have already said something at 5 days to Christmas.

 

If I was you I would spend without fear. And if you're new to the game, I would do in Theme decks (Blazing volcano, Mach Strike and then you can choose)

Good luck with them creating unique content for this game. They can barely keep it working and hardly any communication outside of these archaic forums
