Pokemon Go, yet again putting people in weird situations.

Okay so my PoGo area is fairly scarce, lots of people play but usually all drive the 20-30 minutes into the city to be in groups. I live just outside the city with minimal stops/gyms. There’s a mall down the street that’s been set to close up to build an IKEA so the place is always empty now, but still has a few active gyms and stops. My fiancé has a cold so I drove out to get her some medicine to help her sleep better at night and on the way back figured I’d check out the parking lot for some low tier raids to use up a daily pass I’ve had for the last few days. Pull in, nothing really interesting, decide the drive around the rest of the lot to see if anything decent spawns in the wild. As I get towards the last entrance ready to pull back onto the road I noticed there was a box in the middle of the parking lot behind me. Thought that was weird, the mall has been closed down for the last few months, it had been raining the last few days, and the box looked pretty fresh. So I turned around and drove near it. Got out, walked up to it to see if it had maybe fallen off a mailtruck for some stupid reason, no labels or tape or anything. Then it started moving. Okay. So I went and undid the top, and you have to be ******** me. There’s a chihuahua shivering in the box. I just kind of stared at him for a while in shock, it’s been in the high 20’s low 30’s here recently (not super cold for December but for my state that’s about what we get) I have no idea how long the little guy had been sitting out here by himself but he was honestly really happy to see someone. It’s no secret that my fiancé and I love animals, we live in a normal apartment, but already have 3 pitbulls. I figured I’d take him home, warm him up and feed him and ask around and see if anyone wanted to take him so the bigger dogs didn’t bully him. Fast forward to day 3..his name is now Chico, the 3 pitbulls love him, he believes he is as big as they are, and he’s an absolute cuddle bug. Not many *********** couples out there in the best place to be able to support 4 dogs, but we can’t give him up now. And to think if I hadn’t taken the 5 minutes to check an abandoned lot for raids he could still be out there, and probably wouldn’t have made it. I don’t know who left him out there, or why. But I can tell they made a huge mistake losing this little guy.

That is totally the cutest story I´ve heard this winter! :,D <3 I am so happy that you found and rescued him! ^.^

We inherited our Shetland Sheepdog Pixie. She is among the best things that has happened to me in my whole life! ^-^ I didn´t know life with dogs could be so fulfilling until we spontaniously got her all of a sudden. ^^
