Change Log

Jan. 15, 2019

  • Added: Weavile (BUS #86): Klefki (STS #80), Electrode (EVO #40), and Shedinja (LOT #95) cards in the discard pile are treated as in play when doing damage for Rule of Evil if they were attached to a Pokemon when it was Knocked Out, which can result in a player taking more than the intended number of Prize cards. Due to the significant opportunity for exploitation, Weavile is temporarily banned from play until a fix for this bug can be deployed.

  • Added: When a player concedes a match the game log identifies the match as having ended due to the use of a special card.

Jan. 3, 2019

  • Added: Audino (BCR #126): The client can become non-responsive if Busybody is used while a global effect is present that disables the Abilities of Pokemon in play, such as Garbodor's (BKP #57) Garbotoxin or Silent Lab (PRC #140).
  • Added: Minior (CES #83): The client can become non-responsive if Falling Star is used while a global effect is present that disables the Abilities of Pokemon in play, such as Garbodor's (BKP #57) Garbotoxin or Silent Lab (PRC #140).
  • Added: Trumbeak (LOT #165): The client can become non-responsive if Mountain Pass is used while a global effect is present that disables the Abilities of Pokemon in play, such as Garbodor's (BKP #57) Garbotoxin or Silent Lab (PRC #140).
  • Added: Attacks that modify the base damage of a different attack on the same Pokemon, such as Sneasel's (BUS #85) Hone Claws or Oricorio's (GRI #46) Feather Dance, do not consistently function.
  • Added: The damage counter marker remains present on a Pokemon that is returned to the hand if a Pokemon Tool card that increased its maximum HP was attached. This is a visual issue only and is corrected when a change occurs to Pokemon's maximum HP after being replayed, or when the Pokemon is moved to any zone other than in play or in the hand.
  • Added: Using an attack that prevents the opponent from playing one or more card types from their hand during their next turn, such as Zebstrika's (NXD #48) Disconnect or Seismitoad-EX's (FFI #20) Quaking Punch, can cause the client to become non-responsive if an effect on the attacking Pokemon reduces the attack's damage to 0.
  • Added: Code cards from the 2013 Pokemon World Championships decks do not deliver the expected items.

Dec. 13, 2018

  • Added: Beast Ball (CES #125): Zooming the opponent's Prize cards while they are resolving the effect of Beast Ball may cause the client to become non-responsive.
  • Added: Gladion (CIN #95, 109): Zooming the opponent's Prize cards while they are resolving the effect of Gladion may cause the client to become non-responsive.

General

  • An error may occur when attempting to uninstall the game via the Control Panel when installed in any language other than English. Running the Installer and selecting "Uninstall" will resolve the issue.
  • Cards may appear blurry for a small number of specific MacBook configurations.
  • The Mac client may fail to install or update over a wireless connection for systems running OSX 10.12 or higher.

Gameplay: General

  • Cards selected for an attack that lets the player choose "any amount" of that card type to be moved to or removed from the attacking Pokémon are moved/removed before damage is calculated and applied to the Defending Pokémon, rather than after.
  • The damage counter marker remains present on a Pokemon that is returned to the hand if a Pokemon Tool card that increased its maximum HP was attached. This is a visual issue only and is corrected when a change occurs to Pokemon's maximum HP after being replayed, or when the Pokemon is moved to any zone other than in play or in the hand.
  • Using an attack that prevents the opponent from playing one or more card types from their hand during their next turn, such as Zebstrika's (NXD #48) Disconnect or Seismitoad-EX's (FFI #20) Quaking Punch, can cause the client to become non-responsive if an effect on the attacking Pokemon reduces the attack's damage to 0.
  • When a player concedes a match the game log identifies the match as having ended due to the use of a special card.

Gameplay: Versus

  • Some players may not appear in the Versus Leaderboards Pokemon.com, despite having earned Versus points during the time frame selected.

  • The pack type for unopened theme decks is Bundle Pack, rather than Theme Deck.
