Dive ball froze deck - not able to search?!?!

playing a game with lots of water pokemon, and suddenly dive ball would not let me search deck. it just got "stuck" there.

O_O;

More details are needed to know what happened.

 

1st, where is "there"? Did you played the card and game kind of freeze? Or it was in hand not able to be played?

 

Were you able to play other items (if you had more)?

 

It was maybe a Trevenant XY55 or Vileplume AOr03 in front or any other with abilities or effects of attacks denying play items ("during the next turn, your opponent can't play item cards")?
