Bug on Roaring Skies Shedinja w/ Po Town, Hustle Belt, and Prism Star Ditto

Opponent was playing a Roaring Skies Shedinja (11/108) deck.

Opponent places down Po Town Stadium (Burning Shadows - 121/147) to replace the stadium I had put on my turn.

Opponent placed down the Pokemon Tool Hustle Belt (Celestial Storm - 134/168) on Lost Thunder Prism Star Ditto (154/214) and attached a rainbow energy activating the item since ditto took damage from the energy attachment and its HP went from 40 to 30 left.

Opponent proceeds to revitalize for Shedinja from the discard pile and evolve Prism Star Ditto (had been placed down on a previous turn).

Po Town activates for opponent as they evolved their prism star ditto to 30 HP Shedinja and now Shedinja has 40 damage taken (10 from Rainbow and 30 from Po Town) and DOES NOT get knocked out.

Opponent now is winning on a bugged card using Hopeless Scream for 50x the amount of damage counters on Shedinja PLUS 60 for hustle belt.

This is the second time a bug has caused me a game. It is annoying especially when the other player continues to take advantage of it and proceeds to win knocking out EVERYTHING thats has 260 HP or less in one turn.

I should be compensated AT LEAST 10 versus points for a match that I could have won after my opponent's bad setup but saved by the glitch.

This does not even include the other versus points I would have received for continuing my win streak.

Did you save the game log? Without the log it's hard to confirm if this is a bug, and if it is, it's hard to identify what caused it.

Also, I doubt you're getting those points back, sorry. It's just 10 points anyways, the ladder is so easy to grind nowadays. AFAIK, there is no precedent of VS points being "compensated" due to glitches. The most I've seen is Tournament Tickets refunds, and even those take a while to process.

I can only assume that you missed out on something, such as there being something else in play that would have allowed Shedinja to survive.

I guess it's possible the game just went nuts and messed up that one time, but if the bug is impossible to reproduce then you have nothing to worry about, because it's impossible for anyone to exploit it.

Is it possible it was in play any FLF Floette? [Ability - Flower veil: Each of your grass Pokémon in play gets +20 HP]

Not asking about FUF Training center as you said Po town was in play. But could something else be in play to keep Shedinja alive?

For the points compensation, you need to send a ticket yo support and if they really find this is a bug, maybe, you can get that back, but who knows. Will be hard to demonstrate to them without a game log. If they can't reproduce the bug, be sure you'll get no compensation.

Thank you both so much for the quick responses.

As you could both probably tell, the rage was settling in once I lost a streak that I barely started after losing so many matches in the previous games.

I did not know you could save the game match log and now I'll make sure of it the next time I think I see a glitch.

After some sleep, a clear head, and a good mood I've realized that Chasista is correct. I do remember them playing a flabebe and evolving into floette but completely ignored it since I had no idea what the opponent was playing at the time and it seemed unnecessary on the bench to me. I should have clicked on it and read the ability.

Thank you Sakura150612 for checking my post and then trying to reproduce a bug that didn't exist. It's much appreciated.

Thank you both, again!

You're welcome buddy :) Stuff like this happens sometimes, so don't worry about it.

In case you haven't found it yet, inside a match the Log is in the top right side corner, on the 2nd tab. When you export it you'll get the actual Log +80 or so pages of Debug Data in your clipboard, but if you share it in the forums you just need to copy the first page or so (the Log).

Great to know because Shedinja is involved in a lot of bugs lately. Not sure if the ROS one tho, I don't think so but not sure.

I  try to read every card I don't know. And even if I know what it does, I take a look more often than not. We would save a lot of potential bug reports just reading the cards.

And in addition we could avoid some looses by the same reason. I was beaten the other day by a DW Necrozma that used the GX but I was so happy to have everything in hand to KO it and win that I didn't even stop myself to read the GX attack description. A huge loose. I looked for the card just ending the game and, surprise!

Glad it's not a bug and 'read the cards' lesson learnt for all of us

Hello trainers, I'm happy to see everyone working together to help out a fellow player. I'm also glad to hear there was no bug in this case.
