Fire-element Deck

Recently, I've tried to branch off from my usual Dark-type comfort zone and decided to make a Fire-type deck. Here's what I've came up with:

One of the weird gimmick ideas I had for this deck was to play Dragons Exalted Ninetales or Guardians Rising Salazzle to use the ability that only takes effect when the card is played, use Scoop Up to recover it, then play it again. I haven't played too much with this deck to say if it's a good idea or not, so a bit of help with that would be nice.

 

Some things I'd like to do:

* Pick up some extra Ninetales and non-GX Salazzle to be able to draw them more consistently

* Get a Ditto <*>. All the Pokemon are intended to evolve in this deck, so one would very likely be a good addition.

* Swap out at least one of the Scorched Earths for a Heat Factory. Combined with Barrier Shrine Ninetales, the only way to conceivably remove a Heat Factory in play would be through Pokemon whose abilities can remove them, which are fairly rare AFAIK.

Numbers are good, idea is not bad, but if you're playing Expanded you MUST add an ACE Spec.

 

 

 

And 4 Vs Seeker are staple too. I would recommend 4 UB.

 

 

 

You have too much Supporters. 4 Colress is a lot. I would do 2 Colress or 1; 2 Juniper/Sycamore and add a couple N or 1 at least. Cynthia, Lillie and Blackmisth seems ok.

 

 

 

I would go at 2-2 Ninetales or 3-2 if you want. But hey, you're going to add Ditto so...

 

You cannot attack with Psy Salandit. Is it to split weakness?

 

Although you use a lot of Special conditions, still damage it's just good. I would add one or 2 Choice band. But maybe it's not needed. I would need test.

 

 

 

I would add of course the Heat factory and also the Lysandre {*}

 

 

 

Different idea would be Ho-oh GX. The GX attack allows you to bench 3 fire pokémon (no matter the stage). So you would save some evolutions. A different deck though so I *******
