Theme deck upgrades

Hi guys.  Brand new to this game.  I just recently played a few trainer challenge games with the three starting theme decks and got 7 upgrades on each deck.  I then used some coins to get the Enchanted Echo deck, and it started off saying 0/12 in the same way that the starting decks said 0/7.  However, I've won 3 games with it, and it says 3/12, but I'm not getting any new cards.  What is this counter for?

If you win 12 games with a Theme Deck, you get a booster pack from that set.

Starting theme decks are Online exclusive. they are given to you "incomplete" and they change cards little by little through 7 wins to give you the final upgraded deck.

 

The in-game shops theme decks on the other side are IRL theme decks that come exactly as they are.  No changes to upgrade. But as told, they give other rewards, coins and a pack when 12 different trainers beaten.

 

That said, I recommend you to get Mach strike and Imperial command from shop as they are the 2 best Theme out there,  and to get some standard cards, also both from Forbidden light.
