[General] Slow download? tips?

Hey Guys! curious why it's downloading so slow.

 

Don't know why the download is going at around about 50KB/s (so it says about 2-3hours to download a 297mb game...).

My internet speed is about 30Mb/s. So, I cant see why it's downloading so slow. 

 

Even a 5gb downloads faster than this! 

 

Example, Downloaded Raft game on steam that's 300mb (so 3mb more than pokemon) and that took about 5min.

Other information:

Using chrome latest update.

Cleared my browser, cookies etc and all those good stuff.

Also used CC cleaner. 

Looked in Task manager and nothing is else is running or taking any bandwidth.

Also, i'm the only one on the internet (even went on the router settings and checked all devices and just my Pc is connected)

 

I can wait for 2-3 hours but curious why is it so slow on the beginning? any ideas?

Thank you for bringing this up!

 

Are you doing a full uninstall and reinstall of the game? 

 

If the game was previously installed on your device, you can also use the Refresher Method:

without uninstalling the game, download the latest installer from the TCG Online download page

 

Then run the installer. Find the folder in which you installed the game, named PokemonTradingCardGameOnline, and run the Refresher executable manually.

 

Once that is done, run the game client and log in.

 

More tips for you:

- Empty your Recycle Bin and then restart your computer.

- Ensure that you also delete all previously downloaded versions of the game. Try using a different web browser to download the file again, we recommend Firefox or Google Chrome. 

- Use the latest installer available on the official page.

- Make sure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements.
