Gardevoir-GX Omni deck

Hi! Here is a Gardevoir-GX deck that I thought up, it mainly relies on damage control and removal. It’s not designed to excel anywhere, but it’s large amount of techs enables it to stand it’s ground against almost any deck.

 

The main tactic it uses is to get as many Pokemon out as possible, Rare Candy the Solosis, and move the damage counters around. Then, Bright Heal it, or Acerola a Sylveon when there’s a lot of damage. It allows for an insane amount of healing, but is also very vulnerable against bench sniping. (Solosis only has 30HP, and Reunicleus, 90HP)

Does anyone have something to counter bench sniping?

 

Note: Disregard the Tropical Beach cards and the FoL Sylveon, they’re just there for fun.

Machoke GRI 64 has an ability that prevents any damage to benched pokemon. Might be a good addition.

 

Prevent all damage done to your Benched Pokemon by your opponent's attacks. Your opponents attacks and abilities can't put damage counters on your Benched Pokemon.

That doesn't make a lot of sense it looks like card space in this deck is tight it needs more draw support four is not enough not even close this is an expanded deck in expanded protecting your bench is less important then speed to setup the only deck machoke would protect you against is trevenant break bench barrier Mr mime is a much better option Edited May 21, 2018 by gunmetal

Machoke sounds pretty interesting, but he’s a fighting type so it won’t be great in a Gardie deck... I’ll try Mr.Mime. Draw support isn’t really much of a problem, since that there’s Sylveon-GX to search them up and VS Seekers for playing them again. Worse case scenario, I use Tropical Beach to refill my hand or FoL Sylveon to try to steal a supporter.

Good call on Mr. Mime, for some reason I was thinking his ability only worked while being the Active Pokemon. I was thinking extra draw support too, but I don't have a lot of experience with Expanded just yet, so some of my advice may not apply.

It might be difficult to find, if you don't already have one, but the stadium card 'Mountain Ring' might be the perfect solution. It would mean you couldn't use Fairy Garden, of course. Maybe you could have both Stadium cards in the deck; you won't always have to defend against bench attacks.
