Hello All!

I have 2 Tropical beaches online and I am interested in trading them.

I am looking to trade them for either packs or staples (I left my account dormant for years and am now starting back up again.)

Let me know!

Is it?  I've been watching the same guy put up a 2012, every day for several weeks, who's been asking 4 Tapu Lele and 50 GRI (about 140 value) with no takers.

Hi! First of all, don’t trade your Beaches. Like, really. Don’t trade them. Mainly, for three reasons:

-They’re limited in print. Their price will only grow, while that the price of current staples and others will eventually fall.

-They’re insanely rare. No matter what version, 2011 or 2012, their print have been limited to a small number, and they’re a extremely rare sight on the battlefield. There have been extremely high offers, up to 150+ value, on the trade lobby that have been lingering there for months without takers.

-They’re relics. Not only they have been issued for a single time in the past 7 years, but they’re also playable.

^^ NOT.  They change hands all the time.

A seller's market for sure, but do you recall when 2012 was 80-85, and 2011 was 90-95, not that long ago? ...a full 6-7 years after release?  Rarity can be a misleading indicator.  They didn't rise so high until PLF Ultra Ball went into the toilet, with the release of the SUM full-art Ultra Ball.  ...Followed by full-art N being released as an Alternate Promo.  Investors (profit traders) creating a false market to compensate, and those who have them saying, "Yeah buddy."
