[CARD] general - Bug or By Design? Weakness and Special Energy.

Mew-EX with Rainbow energy and Unit Energy (Fighting, Darkness, and Fairy Energy) attached with Choice Band as my active pokemon.  Tapu Lele on the bench.  I use Mew-Ex's ability to attack with Tapu Lele's Energy Drive.  I'm attacking Lucario-GX which has a weakness to psychic.    The weakness doubling does not work.  Is this a bug or is it because I technically had no psychic energy attached?

No.  The Rainbow Energy counts as all types, including Psychic.  It's because Tapu Lele's attack says "not affected by weakness or resistance."
