[STANDARD]Salazzle/Garbodor-Advice needed to fill it out

I'm returning to this game and oh boy is it fun! Haha! I remember my first card at the lunch table. Kangaskhan. 6th grade lunch table in like 1998 lol. Now the online format has given me a way to play it without having to have the cards or other 31 year olds who would rock out a game lol Oh ya

Anyways...I wanted to make a Salazzle/Garbo deck because it's super low energy for everyone and I have a lot of fun with status effects. The psychic Salandit is because I don't have a 4th fire lol and it's also kinda nice dipping on resistances.

I am using what I have so far...Are there any trainers/pokemon with abilities I'm overlooking that can increase the poison damage per turn? I want to grab more seviper to stack the ability as well as the GX pokemon that hits for 10 poison counters.

So far by the time my Salazzles are killed off my opponent has had to use a ton of items as and Garbodor late game KO's mostly everyone. And the Necrozma GX ability has been able to either finish off several retreated EX/GX pokes or focused the fire of my opponent for a turn or two allowing me to draw a Puzzle/Rescue Stretcher an Garbodor is now moving in for the finish.

Kinda scattered and I will return to theorycraft more after work. Thanks for any help! Friend me for trades!

Theoretically, could work. Seems fun. Just need to be tested to know if can KO a lot or needs 3 turns that would be a problem as high tier decks try to focus into 1HKO, maximum 2HKO.

The "problem" with fire and psy, is that they require their own energies. Let's say can work together anyway. If getting the right type of energies can be managed, then cool. A Prof letter or two can work if problems sometimes.

Is there any reason to have Looker? You put cards on the bottom of your pile and need to be draw from there? Not the best supporter. Also Lady doesn't seem to be the best as you can add just one energy per turn. And having Prof letter you don't use the supporter turn. Exchange both for 2 more Cynthia.

Replace both Wally for Evosoda. Your higher stage is 1, no need of double evolution or waste the supporter turn.

Do you consistently get the pokémon you're looking for? You have a lot of single copies. Need 4 Ultraball! Remove the 2 Kukui (if you don't feel that 20 damage is what KOs your opponent) and 2 Escape rope as, if an opponent is burned, poisoned, confused or whatever, doesn't help you to replace it. You are removing all the conditions forcing the change. If you need those changes, try Switch. Also Float stone could work. Not saying Escape board because Garbodor. although the rest of your pokémon's retreat is 1 (would be free then) or 2.

Wishful baton is not used so much. And requiring so low energy to attack don't know if worth.

Is Skyla a must? Don't get me wrong, I love her but it's not used as staple since B/W era. Adding 2 seems too much, unless it's what wins you the games. Same with FFBelt, it's only for BASIC pokémon and you're going to evolve EVERYTHING to Stage 1. If important to keep alive your basics before evolving, add more. If you want some other options: Bodybuilding Dumbbells (for St1's), no +10 damage but you're not going to attack physically a lot of times, just place conditions. Also Choice band, but only if you're going to damage physically as I said. Great for Garbo.

A second stadium at least, would be cool to have. A 3rd N and/or 2nd Sycamore would be useful. And something to recover important stuff from discard. You have 2 Stretcher but with those stadiums, consider Energy retrieval and Super rod.

A 3rd Field blower would fit great although maybe is too much and space is so tight... Delinquent could be useful now and then but not a must probably.

An additional nice card could be Energy switch but, if you've added the Prof letter, probably not needed. A staple trainer in tier 1 decks is Guzma but playing those conditions, would be a bit like Escape rope with the advantage to choose what pokémon goes in front. Removing all the conditions anyway.

Try to add and remove and then the hard part, go down to 60 cards. And test, test and test removing what it seems you don't use a lot and adding what you missed while in play.

Updated main DECKLIST. I still have some changes to make and theorys *********** really enjoying it, Here goes-

So I think Float Stone is a must. Also I like wally because I can evolve turn one and search for the card. Mabybe some Poison Barb?

Also I would replace the Spindas with 2 more Seviper when I can to stack Poison ability and add Toxapex when I can get him.

Fun to play. Myabe swith to energy disarding cards as well?
