Thank you for changing back tournament rewards

I noticed today that the tournament rewards in all formats have been converted from random packs to the newest set: forbidden light. This is really a good change since older packs (even with those with a higher pack ratio) are not that sought after as new expansions and moreover, we don't  have to risk wasting 8 tickets to get a bunch of crappy evo packs (or something similar). Thank you for listening to us. 

 

On the other hand, I do also look forward to the return of legacy packs in store and I believe that many are expecting that as well . I hope everything works out soon.

We've generally seen tournament packs all switch to the new set upon release in the past, this update just didn't happen the same weekend as the release for whatever reason.

 

While earning relevant packs is a step in the right direction, we're yet to see any implementation of Legacy tournaments and/or packs nor the reimplementation of coin -> ticket events which significantly reduce the barrier of entry for many players.

As someone who bitterly complained when these were taken away, I too wanted to express my gratitude for reinstating these. Looks like I can start using my tickets again.
