Remove "For Trade Check" for private trades

Can we get the forced 'for trade' check removed from private trades?

When I go to create a private trade with someone, I can't see any of their cards unless they've taken the time to go through and mark them all 'for trade'.  There is no easy way to do this other than to flip through each individual card and click the 'for trade' icon.   It seems that most people don't bother marking their cards for trade, and so when I go to setup a private trade, I can't see any of their cards.

I think it would be much better if you removed the 'forced' check of the 'for trade' box when setting up a private trade.  Keep it as an optional box.  This way, we can setup a trade request without having to mark thousands of cards as tradeable.

thanks

Hello JackRyan76,

Thank you for sharing your suggestion! I've passed along your feature suggestion to the development team for further review.

Here's the thing: there are a lot of people who don't want RPs sending offers for all their cards that they'll never give up.  It's really annoying to get random offers for your Lele, or Shay, or other such high-demand cards.  And when you're making deals with people, it's a lot faster to just look through their binder than to ask them if every individual card is for trade.

Yes. There should be an easier way to create a trading "binder" than the current one though. I'd make a suggestion, but the game is so far from the interface that would be needed that there's just no way it can happen. The child's-touchscreen-friendly candy would need to go away, replaced with normal-sized text and menus that don't need to load in a new scene to display at the sides of the screen. So... yeah.

I get a kick out of the Mods, who forward BAD suggestions, without a clue. ...As if forwarding them into the abyss (even good ideas) does any good in the first place. :)

It's been suggested before -- a pretty good idea -- that they have an option to "Mark ALL cards for Trade."  This seems fairly easy to implement, and could toggle all your cards either For Trade, or not.  There are players who like to have ALL their cards tagged.  Whether for trading or vanity (bragging rights), it should be an option.

But @OP's idea cannot, or should not even be considered.  Player's collections are not public knowledge, unless they choose to make it so, even to the people who might be in their friends list.  There are a myriad of reasons why a card could be tagged, including special cards, ones designated for friends/family, or just to price check.  My son's collection has only one Pikachu marked for trade, and that's the way it is, to anyone.  It's just none of their business.

I agree with Rob that there should be a button to mark all for trade.  If that button worked in conjunction with the filters and search box, it would be awesome.

Hey RobRatt,

Thanks for your reply.

We value every feedback and want to make sure that every player was heard. It's not possible to implement all the ideas the players share with us and the game team does review it while planning the changes.

I like your idea of "Mark ALL" button and will forward it as well.
