Ideas to Level playing field

I would like to see, either in a separate mode or in vs mode, a way to "choose" your opponent. There could be options as far as certain cards you don't want to play against (i.e. Garchomp), or types of cards (i.e. GX). This would give incentive to be more creative with building different decks and not having to worry about being way overpowered when you try to play them.

In case you tire of waiting for this extensive coding to take place, there's an option already built-in called "Challenge Friend to a Game." ;)

In that, you can communicate what's happening to each other (in-game), which you can't do on the VS Ladder.

I can't speak for everybody, but don't think I'd like playing very much if I knew that people (the general public) could handpick their playing options just to beat my specific deck.  Instead, maybe they could improve the "Test Deck" feature, with better robots, and choices.

Nah, that’ll be too overpowered. My Gardie deck chews through anything but Steel type, so guess what I’ll choose to not play against?

Right. Metal won't play against Fire, Fire blocks Water, Water blocks either Grass or Metal, and in a week no one can find a game.

SandaledOtter and Princess_Aurora, those are some good points! I'm sure most players would choose not to play against a weakness given the choice. Weakness does offer a challenge!
